Nice to see Journey Down finally made it to GOG! It's one of my favorite point&click games from this decade. And I'll gladly buy it a second time honestly, I got Ch. 1&2 together on steam for like 3 bucks and I don't own Ch.3 yet.
If you backed Chapter 3 on Kickstarter at the whole trilogy level, get in touch with SkyGoblin!

I contacted them. I had my GOG key in less than an hour.

I went from a happy backer to a really happy backer!

GOG, please give us the option to buy the parts separately. I'm a long term supporter of the series and don't need to buy the first and second chapters again. I would pay full price for chapter three if you sold it separately.

They were always sold separately everywhere else.

do you realize the terrible precedent that would set?

"why can't I just buy the first chapter of Dreamfall: Chapters to see if I like it and then buy the others?"

etc.etc.etc.etc.

just no

That's what you get when you buy the trilogy, though: 3 separate entries in your library each one with its own installer. I don't see why they couldn't sell each chapter separately, considering how many people (like SirPrimalform) already own the first two parts.

I'm sure they could

it's a matter of if they SHOULD

and they absolutely shouldn't

Again: different case. Dreamfall: Chapters was always sold as a "season pass", here and elsewhere. And it's always been a single installer for a single game.

I repeat, the Journey Down was conceived and sold as three separate products, not an episodic game. It was never sold as a 'season pass' or anything else. I want to buy part 3 alone because I already own the other 2 parts. No one was given the opportunity to buy Dreamfall: Chapters chapter one separately so this situation doesn't exist in relation to that game.

EDIT: Ha, ninja'd.

and I'm sure that matters or registers as anything to morongamer#255003

all they are going to see is "I can buy separate chapters of this game but not these games" and thousands of them will flood support with complaints

sounds to me you should be complaining to the Journey Down people that they are selling their game in a non-desirable way

1) How do you know SirPrimalform hasn't done that already?

and 2) If the devs decided to sell the chapters separately here on GOG, then it would be all A-Okay for you?

1) Indeed, I have. They implied it wasn't up to them. I'm currently petitioning them to sell the separate chapters DRM-free elsewhere in case GOG really really doesn't want my money.

2) That is a very good point. It kind of just seems like drealmer7 is looking for an argument. ;)

Indeed. Either that, or has forgotten to take his empathy pills this morning.
