Wow fantastic, GOG. It took them long enough to finish all three but finally its here. I literally bought 1 + 2 on humble a week or so ago as I wanted the DRM free versions. Didn't expect this to hit GOG at the release of episode 3. Oh well, guess ill pick this up at a later stage :)

By the way, this is just three different games right in your library? (just as on steam). Or did you combine them all into one?

Laberbacke: It's you. For me it looks just fine.

Themken: It works fine for me. Are you blocking JavaScript or something? I am on really thin ice here though as a fair warning, meaning I know precious little about the subject.
I'm a dummy. It was because of Adblock. I thought I had checked it, but I clearly hadn't. The "funny" thing is that it was being affected by the generic filter ||adv*.*.*/, which of course blocked everything from www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk, images and CSS style sheets included.

Sorry for the OT! :S

Get rid of Adblock and use uBlock Origin .

gixgox: You can download a version from 2010 (the very beginnings???) from Adventure Game Studio:
The Journey Down: Over the Edge

muntdefems: Totally off-topic, but I've been wanting to ask this for a long time: what's wrong with the AGS website/forum? Am I the only one that always gets totally unformatted (and thus quite unreadable) pages? It doesn't seem to load any CSS style sheet, has it got one?
Did you try a different browser?
With my Firefox 55.0.3 everything works fine.

Glad you found the glitch. :)

maladr0Id: As a longtime fan of the series, let me just say that I'm really glad to see this game finally completed :)

It's such a precious love-letter to the classic point'n'clicks of yore but with a strong identity of its own. Fantastic music too.
Completely agree.

Unfortunately it took a while until this came to GOG so I already own the first two chapters on steam (which do not require steam to run btw). However I will always prefer GOG but even if this would get a GOG connect it would not work I guess because this is the trilogy, part 1 and 2 are different games and there is no possibility to get the epissodes seperately here. So I definitely am glad that the game is here but not glad enogh to pay more for it than I already paid for the first chapters. Not GOGs fault for sure but as a buyer it feels bitter-sweet. Guess I will have to wait for a good sale before buying chapter three.

Funny. I also use adblock and FF and it shows alright for me. Maybe you used a different configuration?

I bought both Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 on Humble, I think even full price... and now I'm fucked for it. Ahhhhh shite. Can't even find the game on the Humble store right now for some reason.

But, just to bring this thread to a new direction:
Those first two parts were FANTASTIC. Particularly part 2. Adventure game gold. Incredible music. Stellar voice acting. Impeccable design.

If you're new to the series, 30 bucks is not at all too much for the entirety of it.

I'm not the greatest point and click fan, but I did find chapter 1 a bit... bland and boring. Never finished it and never tried chapter 2. It never managed to hook me, which is a must to be able preserver in this genre.

MarkoH01: Funny. I also use adblock
Which one? I use Adblock Plus and it;s not in its filters. I see the website fine.

Using the Adblock Warning Removal, Easylist, EasyPrivacy and Peter Lowe's lists. Using the find feature, adventuregamestudio isn't in any of those.

Exactly. I use Adblock Plus and can see the site just fine.
I just paged up and noticed another post. The poster figured it out.

Weird to gave a generic like that.

edit: We get sidetracked a lot around here.

It's meant to improve after chapter 1
I understand these are apparently great games, but the art style for the characters is kinda nightmare inducing. What's up with that?

Ah, I see -- Is there a story relevant reason for that, or is it just a visual design choice? Still looks kinda weird, but at least it makes some sense now.
