When Paradox showed up with a bunch of new games, I remarked I was very excited because I'd (hopefully) finally get a shot at Fallen Enchantress Legendary Heroes. I was quickly informed that I had the wrong publisher (LOL) and I THINK I remember the actual publisher being these guys (Neocore). Is that correct? And care to drop another spoiler for me? ;)

Okay here's one - did Neocore do King Arther: The Role Playing Wargame? If so and it shows up here, a LOT of people are in for a treat! I remember buying this one on impulse because it sounded interesting, a short time after I got back into PC gaming. What a complete surprise - the game totally sucked me in and I loved every minute of it. So many huge, epic gameplay mechanics and a seriously stiff but fair difficutly that rewards and demands clever play. LOVED it!

If you mean the 'total war' style king arthur then that was/is paradox. I think the second one is drm free(not sure).

Have to admit that I also thought fallen enchantress was paradox, must of had it mixed up with warlock.

Man, I hate when there are multiple parts to a game series all at once! I feel obliged to play them in order, but I don't want to get burned out before I get to the sequels. (And usually the sequels make some improvements.)

Does the sequel continue the story of the first game, or are they separate games completely?

B0SC0: With respect to the Final Cut, this is also planned for release on GOG and there will be a loyalty program in place for owners of all three games. The details have still not been finalised and we can't give a definite date for when it will reach GOG.

Yah, that's my presumption as well. Probably be a hefty discount, maybe even 80%, but unlikely to be completely free. GOG be where the second class people live.

Yes Neocore Games were the developers of King Arthur 1+2.

Both King Arthur games were developed by Neocore Games and published by Paradox. No idea if that means that Paradox owns the games, or if they are just publishers and Neocore Games retain ownership over them. Both games were once available on GamersGate, but it's been some months since the whole Paradox catalog was removed from there.

Exactly. I ended up basically rebuying both of those games as well, and am already assuming I will do so here too.

They weren't free on Steam, either. At any rate, I suggest we wait instead of latching ourselves at two words (loyalty program instead of free). After all, I could similarly claim that it will be totally free, since it's a loyalty program, not discount. :P

Nice to see these games show up here, they've been on my Steam wishlist for quite a while, so now I can move them to my GOG wishlist instead. Nice starter promo too, and good to hear the 3rd installment and some other games are coming here. It's always nice to see good news of new publishers and games coming to GOG, especially when they're higher class or more well known and popular.

Looking forward to picking the series up for sure one of these days when I'm craving new ARPGs.

So...both look good...but is there a reason I should play the first one? The "resistance" bit in the description for the 2nd one sounds intriguing, and I really should only spend 5 bucks.

Can I start with the 2nd?

The other question is, can you import your character from the first TO the second?

And 3rd - does this compare favorably with Torchlight 2? I've been playing the crap out of that game and loving it.

Lobuno: Developers have stated "The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing Final Cut" (which includes the full content and a then bit more from the I, II and III games) will be ABSOLUTELY free for owners of the three games.

How will this be managed by GOG.COM ???
My guess: GOG will have 4 items available, I, II, III and the Final Cut. Final Cut will automatically be added to accounts owning the first 3 and maybe be available for purchase?
