Looks fantastic. However, it's not on sale, and it's too expensive for me to waste money on if it doesn't work. Is there a Linux version planned? Does this game work flawlessly under wine?
Edit: since everyone seems to be an idiot here, let me restate this: No Tux, No Bucks. I used to have a more liberal policy whereby I would buy a non-Linux game anyway if it met a desire/price threshold (on sale or not, but obviously if it's on sale, I have to make that decision before it goes off-sale), but the idiots who read my above statement have convinced me that this developer deserves nothing from me, ever. Apparently some people think I should go ahead and buy it and return it if it doesn't work on Wine, even though the system requirements clearly state that the game is for Microsoft Windows (amdn MacOS, which I don't run, either). Ignoring ridiculous RAM, CPU and video card requirements is not equivalent to ignoring OS requirements. How exactly should this work? Should I then re-buy it and re-return it every time wine gets a minor dev version update? Or should I do it every major/stable version update? Every time my system is updated? How is this not unethical? How do I get repaid for the time and effort I spent to get the game working? What if they update the engine along with major bug fixes, and the new engine then doesn't work? What if that happens more than 30 days after purchase? Obviously I've been doing things wrong. I will never encourage Windows-only development again by rewarding developers for this practice.
