Fear leads to Anger. Anger leads to...mystery.

The Dame Was Loaded is now available, DRM-free on GOG.com.
Scott Anger, P.I. needed a case. Sure enough, a dame fine as wine walks into his office and asks him to please find her missing brother. But missing persons cases are like women: never as easy to figure out as they promise to be. Anger is now in for a wild ride, as behind every corner and FMV sequence await puzzles, lies, and murder most foul.
Excellent release! By the way, the lady with the red nails looks like the late Amy Winehouse to me.

Too lazy/incompetent to create graphics.

Common, that's not fair. Still, it's of no interest to me.

In 1990s, FMV is quite popular.
Some non-FMV games even claimed that they are FMV.
Maybe they think FMV games could sell more copies.

So surprised and pleased to see this show up on GOG today. Between this and Eric the Unready last week, you are really on a roll as far as I am concerned.

Keep this up and I will be checking for new releases on GOG several times a day every day!

I thought for a second I'd get to play as a woman. I wanted to be a kick-arse lady detective. I'm tired of male leads.

I might still buy this one day, I love FMV's.
Talk about a release out of nowhere. As a fan of FMV games, both good and incompetent, detective/noir cliches and just schlock in general I'll just have to get this.

Still, is there anyone that has played this that could comment on it a bit?

I never liked them. I only played Gabriel Knight 1 & 3 because of my strong dislike.

look at dem gams!

insta buy, love me some old FMV
So the game page says: 9 gripping conclusions
Over 40 hours of gameplay to unlock all endings

Does that mean the game only takes 4.5 hours to play through? Kinda short, especially for a '90's game, if that is the case. Still looks interesting.

lazy? i think not, they not only coded game mechanics, puzzles, graphics but then tied them to full movie mechanics, sound, lighting, actors, props, costumes, sets indoors and out. Some FMVS were very basic but still encompassed all of the above, some were fully directed movies within themselves. if anything, it added more work as they had to incorporate the game movement to movies, shoot reaction scenes per action, movement etc and make it work as a game.

for me they add immersion if well done (gabriel knight- sins, Tex Murphy), comedy if not. you either love em or hate em, but it wasnt lazy by any means nor cheap
