Tale as old as time.

The Bard's Tale IV: Barrows Deep, is now available, DRM-free on GOG.com.
More than 100 years later, evil is back, as it tends to do. Pick one of four available classes (yes, you don't have to be a bard) and before you know it you're be crawling through cavernous dungeons or the legendary city of Skara Brae, solving puzzles, bopping beasties in turn-based fashion and having a grand ol' time. Along with your party and your shiny gear, of course.

Fancy for some tasty extras?
The Premium edition comes loaded with an Art Book, Songbook, digital novellas, several in-game items, and more.
Platinum also includes the game's soundtrack and if you're new to the saga, the Ultimate Edition will provide you with a copy of the remastered Bard's Tales trilogy.

Looking for something different to scratch that RPG itch? The Torchlight and Tales of Maj'Eyal games are now on sale until September 22, 10pm UTC.
Linux version is not ready yet, even if you have a key. InXile were able to make same day releases in the past. I guess this time they didn't have enough time.

Brian Fargo announced something of a stretch goal, that I do hope he hits.

Their previous games were Unity so I'm guessing thats a simpler process than whatever is needed for UE4.
I am backer got my key and i am now installing but there are no extras showing on glaxy such as sountrack, map etc. Is anyone else having same issue?

Time should be spent on such things a bit in advance to avoid last time QA rush. But often such projects push off Linux testing to the last day which is a mistake since they can't realistically estimate how much time it can take.

They announced that backers aren't getting extras on GOG. Read the last KS update.

Same, backers get a barebones standard edition, the extras are delivered via CrowdOx....

SeduceMePlz: Yep, it's official: inXile backers are getting screwed again.

BreOl72: I'm a backer, and I got my key today.
Let me guess... Steam key?

I just checked again (email, including spam folder, and CrowdOx), and I still haven't been issued one despite my survey being locked for digital fulfillment and showing a GOG key selected.

And then there's still the matter of backers receiving a stripped version with no extras.

As backers, we still don't have keys on release day while people who preordered or bought today are already playing the game. And when backers get keys, we'll have to download our extras from a janky third-party website that might be gone next year.

As I said a couple hours ago, I won't be supporting inXile's future crowdfunding efforts since they seem to have no respect for the people who put down money years ahead of time to help fund their games.
Wonder whats wrongthere, I got my GOG Key days ago, one day after the last E-Mail that we should chose again. Downloading right now.
And complaining on your side is quite high,we got the old Bt,the enhanced Version and Wasteland 2 for free, so I dont see it as a loose at all. Only "bad" thing is, goodies are on CrowdOx.
I contacted @phimseto on inXile forum, and he helped me sorting out the missing GOG key. I'll be waiting for Linux release. But I still have no idea how to access CrowdOx extras.

Dang, no extras at all? Not even a manual? Gotta download everything from Ox?

Bleh.

Well according to the KS update, we're supposed to get another email with access to the extras:
All your other extras will be available for download from CrowdOx, we have begun sending those emails and you should receive those some time today.

OK. That's not a rush, since I'll have to wait for the Linux version anyway.

This would suck me too, if I backed the game and have to download stuff from two different platforms afterwards to have it complete. Clearly a disadvantage for backers in my opinion.

By the way. I finally managed to download the 32 GB (with all extras). xD
Backing up all my games here on GOG gets more and more difficult while the games get always bigger and bigger downloadwise.
