The Banner Saga 2 OST is not a good deal, sorry. One can get it on Bandcamp for $6, and it comes with FLAC and other formats, and no regional pricing.
Maybe I´d have bought it, but after all that happened, nah, I´ll pass...for now at least.

sbaylus: I have Steam keys for Banner Saga 1 & 2 from The Banner Saga Warbands Kickstarter but would rather have the games here on GOG.

"If you are a backer at $50 and up, and you’d like a GoG key for Banner Saga 2 - then please send us a KS message and we’ll get you your key."
I wonder how they had a change of heart. I never finished the first one. I got so terrified of making a wrong decision that I ended up making no decisions at all.

If they weren't going to let GOG have this game on Day 1 anyway, why in blazes do they choose to release it in the middle of a bundle sale, when exposure is low and wallets already mostly empty? Why not wait a few days longer? I'm sure that the game will sell eventually, but those launch numbers will not be good. :/

Ah, well. Am still glad that their icy stance on DRM-free releases has thawed a bit - now I know I'll be able to play this. :) Wishlisted for now, as my gaming budget is already spent, but will definitely get this at some point!

Ah, The Banner Saga 2. I will buy it for sure, but I will reserve the developers the same treatment they reserved to me by considering it as a second-class game. I will grab it 75% off at least, no less.
A certain kind of stupidity requires a certain kind of reward, and buying at full price would be an insult to the intelligence of DRM-free customers. Feel free to be offended, and enjoy your Steam-un-piratable copies in the meantime.

Strange how fast ideas can change when things go bad.

These guys trying to rip off Candy Crush Saga again ?
First it's not coming and now here it is *scratches head*....ok, that's good i guess.
In a sale, not the best timing is it, loved the first, so gonna buy it, no to the music tho.
Shit that happens way too often, what was once a nice bonus is now payed content, no thanks.
I understand people being upset about how Stoic initially handled the situation and not making any plans for a DRM free version. I do think they should be commended for. How quickly they pivoted when fans made their voices heard. I think that kind of behavior should be rewarded, not shunned. Also, unless I'm mistaken this is an earlier release than number 1. That took a while to come out.

Are we not all pirates to this developer?

Licurg: These guys trying to rip off Candy Crush Saga again ?
Looks like it :D,
i read all the news about it, basically there much wrong with the licence system of names.

How about Sega Saga ? and propbably many more with the word saga in it.

saga is nothing more nothing less then a word, so basically it should be impossible to be able to licence a word.

when googled on saga meaning:

saga

"the Celts' tribal sagas abound with mythical figures"
2.

"launching into the saga of her engagement"
synonyms: rigmarole, story, lengthy story/statement/explanation; More
chain of events, catalogue of disasters;

While I'm a little annoyed that they didn't seem to think we were worth it.. I can't really hold it against them too much as the original game was excellent and the sequel is almost guaranteed to be too.

Unfortunately the money I may have had for games has gone on other things so it's wishlist for now.

They didn't add achievements in the GOG version when the game has them on Steam. GOG users treated as garbage again, groundbreaking.

HypersomniacLive: Well, this was sooner than expected. Sadly, regionally priced, and no Linux build for our Linux users.
in the past i would have said ;"" ??? Linux ? what is a "Linux: ? i know what a Lynx is :D "

BUT and this is a major but, since Mickeysoft messedup with windows E.T, uh i mean windows Phone Home, ah, windows 10 ... ofcourse...

i understand the Linux users better, much better.
i assume we dont need a windows or existing OS to be able to use linux? linux is a kind of a standalone "OS" ?
Does Linux still have no phone? or will it call home aswell ?

There isn't a Linux version for Banner Saga 2.
