Up to 75% off Puzzle Agent & Puzzle Agent 2, Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People, Hector: Badge of Carnage

A foursome of Telltale's many classic adventures, is available now DRM-free on GOG.com. Get all games 75% off together, or 60% off individually! Before The Walking Dead, before the The Wolf Among Us, the Telltale Games catalog was a medley of point and click adventures and testing the waters for new ideas - always mixed with the studio's unique charm. Here is just a peek at Telltale's adventure:

In the year 2000, a flash-cartoon by the name of Homestar Runner slowly began working its way up to internet-sensation levels of popularity. By 2009, the series's episodic Telltale spinoff was complete. And now, Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People is DRM-free on GOG.com - in which you get to play as Strong Bad, be attractive, and get a taste of how Telltale did adventure back in the day.

Calling the U.S. Department of Puzzle Research! Strange events require your utmost attention - a serial crime spree-er is on the loose, and he's leaving all manner of brainteasers in his wake. That's not to mention the puzzles that surround you every day. As Nelson Tethers you'll have to traverse the perpetually-busy town of Scoggins, navigate a web of secret societies, peculiar sounds and... garden gnomes? Puzzle Agent & Puzzle Agent 2 are a duo of adventures, where beautiful hand-drawn art, hilarity and creepiness come together to form an amazing adventure game littered with smart challenges.

You are Hector. A rude man, a foul man. A policeman. You take the Great out of Britain, negotiate with terrorists, and would really much rather be somewhere else. Hector: Badge of Carnage follows the misadventures of the cynical cop as he trudges through life, giving off the wrong impression wherever he goes. That's not to say you should get the wrong impression about this game, there's method to its crudeness and, in great writing, a spirit of hilarity.

Take a trip back to a classic Telltale with Puzzle Agent & Puzzle Agent 2, Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People, Hector: Badge of Carnage together at 75% off. The promo will last for one week, until Friday, October 2, 12:59 PM GMT.

Stream watch:

Catch Outstar playing Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People (or SBCG4AP for short) over at Twitch.tv/GOGcom on Wednesday, September 30th, at 8pm GMT / 9pm BST / 10pm CEST / 4pm EDT / 1pm PDT!

Do not buy from Telltale on GOG. Their Sam and Max has had a game breaking bug on GOG for 3 years now and they still won't fix it:

75% off is nice I suppose, although these have been out for so long and on sale so often it's not amazing.
Also they're not really my favorites of the Telltale collection and I'm not that big of a fan of Telltale as a company.
I'll have to think about it.
Oh no, more adventures!
What, less than 90% discount? For Telltale Games games???

You have to be joking.

Edit: Just so I can post *something* positive in a Telltale thread at least once, the Hector games are very much worth it.

They aren't made by Telltale, those "people" only acquired the rights to distribute the game on PC. It's quite funny at times & the final puzzle sequence on the third game is something to behold.

You will pull your hair in frustration & bash your head against the table, but you will not be able to stop laughing.

It's pure sadism, artfully done.

Strong bad's cool game for attractive people wasn't bundled and drm-free elsewhere so far, so that should be a premiere. Unfortunately it's not my kind of humour, but still nice to see to get more older titles here.

As far it's not a mistake again it seems two games now include also the mac versions. Still wondering none of the other Telltale releases here has the mac versions. Is there a license or techincal reason for it? No pushing or accusation, just interesting to know.
Strong Bad!!! Awesome!!

Well, there was a DVD release with only a disc check, whether that's "DRM-free" or not seems to vary from person to person, but I'm okay with calling it such...

Ahh right, the disc release. Right. I was thinking to order the discs for Monkey Island and Sam & Mac series back in the days, but as far as I remember shipping was really costly. I would want to change my sentence to drm-free online ;-)

- Game is 7 years old and costs 30 bucks? Check!
- You're from Europe and get 1/3 of the game's price back in store credit (Fair Price Package)? Check!

Yes, it's defenitely another glorious Telltale release -.-

Seriously, GOG, what went wrong with regional pricing of this game? Game page says I get back €4 when I buy this game at €11.19? I hope this is a bug...

I hadn't even noticed the regional pricing, it's not mentioned if you buy the 'bundle'.

They are... It's Telltale (look at Sam & Max). They love their 80-90% off sales. It's basically forbidden to buy their games if they're not heavily discounted. I think they don't even expect to sell a single copy of their games outside of sales.

I'm happy for those who wanted these titles here. However.....

All I want to know is why they plainly refused to fix that bug for gOg's version of the game, yet still sell it here for $30.

That's ridiculous.

Regional pricing is nice and all that, but... More than 1/3??? Seriously? That's far beyond "rip off". This is "Bend over and smile while you're taking it".
