Aaah, how long I`ve been waiting for this to come here. Though number of DLC can be overwhelming, the game itself is great. Instabought it.

GOG's sale pages are not complete for the game. There are indeed 2 characters not listed in ANY sale-links.

- The Ranger
- The Pilgim

So yeah, it is correct 7 characters are missing from the DLC pack, but it is QUITE complicated to find them. Tststs...
I just have to point out that while the number of dlc's seems overabundant for a video game this was first a board game. If you have ever seen the number of expansion packs for games like Killer Bunnies or Munchkin this seems much less abnormal. (Less abnormal, but still a lot.)

Sildring: Can you "fully enjoy" Talisman: Digital Edition without any DLC ?
Absolutely yes, for cheap you still get several characters (I don't remember how many) and they are fun to play, and there's plenty of content. For this price it's really good even without the DLC.

Nice to see this here but, not only is it not available via Connect for those of us who gave up and bought it on Steam years ago, the releases here:

No Prologue.
No Horus Heresy.
No bundle deal (or maybe that exists and just got lost in the mess of massive DLC drops) to get it all.

I want to replace my Steam copy with a GOG one but, without a bundle and half the games still missing, this isn't really speaking to me right now.

Maybe if I didn't already own it, and hadn't expanded it way past the basic level, via Steam.

When you release this late you need to inspire people to move over and pay you again for the same content we already own.

Yes, the table game is known for its many expansions. They could have gone a different route - higher price, all the extra content included, a la Shovel Knight. I don't mind this approach as the DLCs are cheap and really optional and you can get them as you want them. As long as the offer is the same as in Steam and not incomplete. I'm still puzzled for the lack of Prologue here.

Hi! I'm glad you release Talisman here. Does that mean future Nomand Games games will appear here too? I'm waiting for Fury of Dracula and if it would appear on GOG, I would definitely wait and not buy it on Steam, just to support you guys.
Man, those DLCs...

Still, it might be nice to have this (DLCs excluded, fuck that noise). I still really like Talisman and have a lot of nostalgia for it and the simpler time of fantasy board games, but pretty much none of my board gaming friends want to even look at it anymore.

You can buy just the base game and login. All your previously bought DLCs will appear in the game.
Wow... DLC spam-fest. Run away!
Our version at GOG is on par with Steam as it seems.

Steam lists 46 DLCs (including DLC pack itself) and we can buy 45 DLCs here AND the DLC pack.

Cracked versions talk about 47 DLCs, seems there was pre-order DLC and the missing prologue?

Dogmaus: [...] I'm still puzzled for the lack of Prologue here.
I was going to post the link to Prologue on the Humble Store, but it redirects to the main store page. A quick search of their store for "talisman" showed only the two games that just released here; upon checking Steam, it's no longer for sale there, either.
If I had to guess, the publisher felt that the release of Origins made Prologue irrelevant.

To further add to the answer, and assuming this is a 1:1 rendition of the game (which I believe it is), the base game has a limited deck of adventure cards, so while it's enough to play, could become a bit samey in the long run. The good news is you don't really need all the expansions listed, even purchasing one or two would go a long way to increase replayability.

My advice would be buy the base game, play it and if you like it you can get a few dlcs of your liking to add to the game. The Reaper is a good choice to round up the base game.

The number of DLCs here is ridiculous. I wanted to see New Releases and all except 1 or 2 was this Talisman stuff. Why?
Bloody hell, what happened to New Releases page? What is this... Please, just group it up into single entry, this is ridiculous.
