Besides the difference in graphics, how does SWAT 4 compare to SWAT 3?

It's just... better. The AI is better, giving orders to the squad is smoother and easier, and the levels are better designed, less frustrating to replay upon dying.

How well does it run in Win7? Does it work on multiple monitors?
Are there any other SWAT games not on GoG yet?

Which one? 3 works fine, though I have no idea about multiple monitors. 4 I have not played since...well, quite a while, so I have no idea about either.

I'm trying to figure out if SWAT 4 can run on a Win7 machine with multiple monitors. From this post, it looks like the game may not work with multiple monitors, but I don't know if it has been confirmed.

amund: This game got some crazy mouse acceleration, here's how to disable it:

after all the fixes I put on the game for resolution and FOV I was like hmm the mouse seems a little off sometimes when aiming and I gave this a shot and BOOM my god the difference is like night and day, much better! thanks for the link man. +1

the link amund posted shows it has been tested and other stuff as well and check boxes show if it works or not.

I've run my physical copy of SWAT 4 on a couple of W7 machines before, and one had two monitors - but it only displayed on one monitor, if that's a problem.

One of the best images of the game was the one with the nod to Tribes. Without a doubt the best team based game ever. With its x,y, and z axis and skiing there was nothing like it and to this day, nothing has compared to Tribes and Tribes II.

Fondest memories of PC gaming for me.

Is the GOG version similar to the physical version of SWAT 4? Was anything modified?
"Please Note: SWAT 4: Gold Edition only supports multiplayer connectivity over LAN or direct connection. "

Direct connection? Is that similar to Terraria where you enter IP or what?

Oooh...sorry, I'm still playing my physical copy right now, so I guess my anecdotal evidence isn't that useful. >_<

Breja: GOG- please, please replace the "farewell" screenshot with another one. It's one of the best, most chilling moments in the game. It's a shame to spoil it like that.
Yeah... Already spoiled for me. The dialogue's right there in the image. :-/
