Under the domes.

UPDATE: Looking for some cool extras? You can now get the Deluxe Upgrade Pack or go for the Season Pass, if you fancy.

Surviving Mars, is now available, DRM-free on GOG.com.
It's hard to call this place "the red planet" anymore. Thanks to some ingenious work on the infrastructure, the retro-futuristic settlements are ticking away happily, providing not only sustenance but also plenty of quality entertainment to your colonists. Except when a dust devil hits. Or a meteor shower. Or when a bunch of mysterious alien spheres start hovering outside the domes. Time to put those crisis management skills to good use.

Grab the Deluxe Edition for the Digital Art Book, a wallpaper, and several in-game rewards, or go for the First Colony Edition which also includes the game's Season Pass.

I love it when it says "10 hours until release" then I go check and it says "10 minutes." DOWNLOADING NAO.

I think the game looks awesome, but I don't want to have to deal with all the DLC etc. I think I'll wait for it all to come out before I spend any money on it.
the twitch link is great, watching it now, looks very pretty in game

I agree, even though it looks like a game i'd enjoy immensely, the usual DLCs scheme is ugly enough for me that i'll pass for the time being; I'm not against one or two beefy expansions (look what they did with Pillars of Eternity for example), but regular mini-DLC releases are a no-no thing for me; i may check again after everything is assembled.

game's not launching despite file verification ok.
why not a specific gog forum for this game?

gog galaxy appart,a direct try on exe in installation folder is answered by 'X3Daudio 1_7.dll not found'....
EDIT: need to be done manually for the game to launch : https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_8-system/how-to-fix-a-x3daudio17dll-is-missing-error-for/36c43168-f557-4f02-a0ff-2dcce7de9fe3?auth=1

First Colony (maybe Deluxe too) edition seems to be missing things like the artbook or the wallpapers as well.
Waiting for reviews on difficulty.
This is one strategy title I may score, even going with the $49.99 version. It just looks that fun! :)

I purchased first colony too. There is only OST to download, also missing radio station from game, which should be included(Quantum Sonics)!

Looks great from what i've seen. I love every Haemimont games i've played.

But the whole editions comparison chart put me off so much. I'm so sick of this tiered shit.

Looks like a game right for me.

Guess it's a wishlist entry to get it when the full game is actually out (about a year or two from now), because Paradox, though.

Not a fan of bare-bone releases intended for DLC milking. Not to mention P'dox may decide to change the EULA long after the release to allow them telemetry as they did with Crusader Kings 2.
This game is really great, I'm not a big fan of city builders but this one is the exception. Just started the game and my drones are already slacking, also it seems I salvaged a drone rover by mistake (oops). It will take some time till I get used to all the stuff, admittedly I really suck at city builders but it's a nice change of pace from my usual RPG's.
