There is no time like bullet time.

SUPERHOT, an intense tactical FPS where you gracefully pirouette inside a hailstorm of flying bullets, is available now for Windows, Mac, and Linux, DRM-free on GOG.com and with a 10% launch discount.

Watching your dancer neighbour tending her garden in yoga pants? Hot. Trying to get your lasagna out of the oven right after it's done? Very hot. Slaying scores of enemies while dodging a torrent of bullets in slow-motion? SUPERHOT.

Your enemies outnumber you, they have better guns, and they are expecting you. But you have the advantage. Time is on your side - the world stands still when you stand still and moves along with your movements. Slice, punch, and blast your aggressive, glass-mannequin enemies using perfect timing, clever positioning, and their own weapons against them. The clean, minimalistic visuals will help you concentrate on this carefully choreographed ballet of brutality and make the most out of your ability to pause and resume the flow of time. Things will get SUPERHOT but keep a cool head and everything will be cool. Especially your cool killing moves.

Step out of the FPS paradigm in slow-motion and engage in surgically executed combat while feeling SUPERHOT, DRM-free on GOG.com. The 10% launch discount will last until March 3rd, 8:59 PM GMT.

Djaron: i was frustrated to see this coming on steam and so beyond my grasp... so i comforted my lone self with the prototype today...

then ? oh my god: it lands on GOG !

so glad, instabuy... 3 superb games in two months only and 2 out of 3 are drm free (darkest dungeon, and superhot)
Instabuy when it is $10 or less. :)

most of the time and most of the games that appeal to me, i think and act exactly as you do... (that's why my wishlist is full of 15-30 € games i can wait to get when it will be on sale)

and on rare occasion, for some games, i wont wait and jump on them asap... here we have a case like that...

Same. Most on my wishlist are quite expensive but I have lots on around $15 which I also consider too much. I will wait for sales. Some titles I had to wait for over a year but eventually I got them :)

Instabuy is only $7 and below or around $12 if it is several games at the same time, ie a "pack". Otherwise, nope. I wishlisted lots of indevelopment titles but some are over $50 !!!! :O so I only got cheaper ones.

Wishbone: For me, that's about the worst recommendation you could make ;-)

IAmSinistar: Likewise. :)
Well, keep in mind I haven't even played through much of the story at that point. I may have spoken too soon.

Having just played the story mode for another couple hours, I'm pleasantly surprised. They just threw another twist on top, and it seems like there is plenty of game left to see and learn. More than the reviews made it sound like to me.

The gameplay is super intricate and stupidly fun, that I can say - but don't take my word for how much replayability there is. With the many ways to solve and "optimize" each level, plus tweaks/mutators, plus killstagram.com, seems like it might be quite a bit.

I've decided to buy it, even tho I was against it, and I must say...

SUPERHOT IS THE MOST INNOVATIVE SHOOTER I'VE PLAYED IN YEARS!
Are we gonna get the latest update to the Steam version soon?
The game often gets laggy when I move and the changelog seemed to mention that.
I don't want to refund it here! :(
Surprisingly this game has lots of replayability with its challenges and endless modes, the gameplay is fun so you don't really want to stop after the story.

Howdy!
Do you think it's feasible with a controller? I mean, it's kinda slow-paced and all and I don't know if it supports pads but hey, playin' it on a big screen gotta be a blast!

You can find information that the game does indeed support a game controller, although i haven't tried it myself.
I bet the game would play better than most fps on pads due to its stop-time nature so it might actually be pretty neat.

If you happen to test the controller please give me a shout :D.

Huh. Neat, I missed this info. I was playing the game thinking that it would be super cool with an analog stick. Gonna have to try it out.

DrSulfurious: Just bought it for the 20 some dollars it was here. It's on Steam for 35 dollars CAD. Glad I chose GOG this time around. Love the new galaxy app!

Primo_Victoria: How much was it with conversion?
There was no conversion on GoG from what my bank statement shows.
