There is no time like bullet time.

SUPERHOT, an intense tactical FPS where you gracefully pirouette inside a hailstorm of flying bullets, is available now for Windows, Mac, and Linux, DRM-free on GOG.com and with a 10% launch discount.

Watching your dancer neighbour tending her garden in yoga pants? Hot. Trying to get your lasagna out of the oven right after it's done? Very hot. Slaying scores of enemies while dodging a torrent of bullets in slow-motion? SUPERHOT.

Your enemies outnumber you, they have better guns, and they are expecting you. But you have the advantage. Time is on your side - the world stands still when you stand still and moves along with your movements. Slice, punch, and blast your aggressive, glass-mannequin enemies using perfect timing, clever positioning, and their own weapons against them. The clean, minimalistic visuals will help you concentrate on this carefully choreographed ballet of brutality and make the most out of your ability to pause and resume the flow of time. Things will get SUPERHOT but keep a cool head and everything will be cool. Especially your cool killing moves.

Step out of the FPS paradigm in slow-motion and engage in surgically executed combat while feeling SUPERHOT, DRM-free on GOG.com. The 10% launch discount will last until March 3rd, 8:59 PM GMT.

DrSulfurious: Just bought it for the 20 some dollars it was here. It's on Steam for 35 dollars CAD. Glad I chose GOG this time around. Love the new galaxy app!
How much was it with conversion?
it's the most innovative shooter I've played in years
I'm surprised at the system requirements seeing how this looks like it should be a lot less demanding game. *shrug*

On the wishlist it goes for a later date since it does look rather intriguing.
Some radical sh!t, I like.
Wishlisted for now. When I've got some spare funds then I'll be picking this up. Really glad to see it on gog - wasn't expecting it to be honest. If you haven't already do give the tech demo a try for this if you're undecided.

rtcvb32: 2 years ago i remember trying this game out on Kongregate, however it was far more an idea rather than a full fledged game (Curiously i can't find it, it would still be an interesting demo you could look at... hmmm).
The prototype is still available to play on the game's website for those interested: https://superhotgame.com/play-prototype/
Neat.

Um...I mean hot.
Cool, but I'll wait for a better deal what with the regional pricing and all.
Wishlisted for now. Waaaaaaaaaaaaay too expensive. My goodness.

Primo_Victoria: A more realistic price would have shifted more copies at launch, when it counts, when people tell their friends about it, etc. Oh well. It'll still be there later.
Absolutely :)

DProject: I just finished watching TotalBiscuit's video of the game, and apparently there is, but if you're thinking of buying the game solely for the campaign, you should think twice because apparently the story is only two hours long. I think the meat of the game is in the challenges and endless modes.

edit: wow, the game costs 23€? Looking at the video review (and even though the game looked good), I was expecting this to be more on the 10, 15€ max range.
2-hour story mode, €23 base price... Yeah, I'll pass for now.

The prototype should give you a good idea of what the game is about, but the finished product is so much more polished, and smooth, and just a pleasure to play (and then watch).

I haven't played much of it so far, maybe about an hour but... I'm seriously a little bit in love. I really hope the price/length ratio isn't' a huge turnoff for people, because of all the games out there, this is one is actually really worth experiencing for doing something new and special.

Also, my impression so far is that the story serves as an introduction to the mechanics and the bulk of the gameplay is in the other game modes.
I did play the demo of this when it was in development and I do think calling it a FPS is a bit misleading, as it does play out more like a environmental puzzle game. The solution to the puzzles just happen to be how you kill all the enemies without being hit.

I just played it for 30 minutes and I hate puzzle games :o)

Personally, I would more compare it to Hotline Miami where you also had to follow some sequence of actions to increase your chance of survival and finish the level. I really like the game as you can play it casually with short levels (I would rather "situations"), it's a must for people who like to replay games just to optimize their skills.

SuperQot was good too
Whoa, just noticed this on the Upcoming yesterday and it's out today! Might pick it up, I did wishlist it and it seems intriguing.
