I've never heard of this game but more helicopter sims are always welcome! It would be great to get Gunship 2000 here, too!
This is awesome. But more awesome than this is the trailer Ziggurat interactive put for the game. I mean, personally never saw publishers doing new trailers for oldies. Just superb!! More people should do this!
The gameplay looks way too arcadey for this to be considered a chopper simulation.
Well, nice release, but I expected XF5700 Mantis Experimental Fighter, WWII GI, World Championship Boxing or at least some Ocean / Infogrames / Accolade games to show up.
There was a Super Huey III?
Hopefully it comes on casette. :D

Super Huey is a very old series, it originates on 8-bit machines. I had it on 8-bit Atari or my cousin had it on his Commodore 64. We never knew how to play it, but we were like 10 years old back then.

Chop chops don't get the love they deserve.

Which non-English speakers do we pretend kill in this one?
lol
I actually played this game a decent amount. I hardly remember it. I do remember that I did have a lot of fun with it, though. That doesn't mean its good. I used to have a lot of fun with pretty much any game that had subject matter that interested me. Its not really a sim at all, so don't buy it if your looking for one. Get Enemy Engaged, or something else instead.
I saw this one while browsing earlier and it looked pretty cool, I'm new to those aircraft shooter type games but I'd like to start collecting them. This one reminded me a little like Soviet Strike on PS1 although that was more top-down 3rd person rather than within the actual helicopter.

That's called isometric view, and you're absolutely right about the similarities, this is like a 3D Desert Strike!
I remember playing "Super Huey UH-IX" on my C64.
Might buy it just for the nostalgia involved...
Looks cool. Wishlisted for now.
So what happened to Super Huey I and II?
