LOSE YOUR MIND. EAT YOUR CREW. DIE.

Sunless Sea, a tale of terror, loot and discovery, is available for Windows and Mac OS X, now DRM-free on GOG.com with a 10% launch discount.

In Sunless Sea, insanity ensues. Captain, you will embark on your very own steamship, collect your crew, and explore an immense sea of discovery, mystery, betrayal, loneliness, death, insanity, death, insanity. FTL hears The Call of Cthulhu - you will die gruesomely, but how you die is up to you. Your children will also die, your grandchildren will die, and their grandchildren will die too. How they live, how they die, and what stories will be told of your family legacy - that's up to you. Over 200,000 written words of plot, backstory and secrets beckon you towards the old black ocean, where immeasurable loot awaits. Dare you sail her?

Sunless Sea is getting amazing reviews already, so just try your best not to eat your crew on GOG.com! The 10% launch discount will last for one week, until 4:59 PM GMT.

TWITCH STREAM SPECIAL
Hannah Flynn from Failbetter Games will be playing the game live on twitch.tv/gogcom!

See what the craze is about, ask a question or two, or just shoot the breeze with members of the development team who will be hanging out on our Twitch chat all evening long.
The stream goes live on February 6, at 7:00 PM GMT / 2:00 PM EST / 11:00 AM PST.
So very, very wishlisted. Been watching this since I spotted it on Early Access on Steam. Dropped in to the Twitch stream for a while, and I have to say this looks like a real time-devouring winner. Thanks, GOG!
This looks like a whirlpool of sandglasses. Definitely wishlisted.
WOW! Nice release! I always wanted a new mind-losing simulator, but you know what would be an even better release?... Freddi Fish 2! In Freddi Fish 2 you can collect sea urchins, draw on a chalkboard, and solve a block solving puzzle!

Let's hope next release will be Freddi Fish 2!

Your best bet for that is Steam, unfortunately. But it's better than nothing. :)
Nice release! I used to play Fallen London.

GOG.com: LOSE YOUR MIND. EAT YOUR CREW. DIE.
If my wallet were not so much of a partykiller, that would have set a new record for convincing me of buying a game in the shortest amount of time possible. *starting to lose my mind*
I must have heard good things, I have this wishlisted on steam. Now wishlisted here.
Bad month for game buying for me, a lot of my annual expenses kick in this month so I'll pick it up on another sale at another time, when that black sea will take me.
New publisher on gOg with a release-day... er, release! Thanks for understanding that DRM is a complete load of shit, and for putting trust in a pool of customers who are more than happy to pay for quality content.

One dev / publisher at a time...
Awesome! I was hoping this would come to GOG!
I didn't knew Failbetter Games, till now. Have just looked a bit around on their fine website and have to like them already now for their philosophy (look below). Sunless Sea seems to be very interesting, and it has no such high sys req's like the most games nowadays. Wishlisted. And with Fallen London they have another game which wants to be played by me... coming! :)

"Sunless Sea has done pretty well, and we’re growing, and we’re in a good place. But that near-extinction left me determined that Failbetter’s priorities would be safety, fun and profit, in that order.
Priority one: we want to be sure we can stay afloat. Priority two: we want to keep doing projects that we genuinely enjoywhich is the whole reason we’re in this business. And thirdly, money’s always nice, but that comes last."

IAmSinistar: Nice release! Hmm, to buy now, or keep on the Incredibly Expanding Wishlist so that I have something to look forward to later?
Fixed that for you (and added to mine own mountain-sized list meself). :-)

I thought the same: What, Sinistars wishlist is shrinking? Huh?? (Only solution can be, he owns almost all gog-games ;) )

Thinking about that, one could add it to Murphy's Laws, something like that: "A gog-wishlist is [a paradox because it is] never shrinking."
It feels like you get one game out of it and at least two other games appear... xD

rodrolliv: It's starting
Yeah, I couldn't watch it, was busy with something else. Hopefully there'll be a replay? :P

Chance would be a fine thing, but between my tendency to indulge in Day One purchases and shaving the list from sales, it tends to shrink faster than it grows. :)

For now I'll keep Sunless Sea on the wishlist, so that I have a chance to be excited at the next big sale.
Looks interes-- oh no, WASD and relative directions. Nope nope nope, 'S'ing out of here.
