In the press:

Stronghold Crusader II was a rare game that I got lost in. I started playing and before I knew it, it was six hours later. Who can resist a game about castle building, economy raising, and taking on large castles full of troops and hazards? Especially when you can soften up the numbers by launching diseased animals over castle walls.--Dark Station

The first thing that you'll notice when making your initial tentative steps into Stronghold Crusader II is the level of detail that's been invested into making its world as joyous to behold for the player as possible. --Game Revolution

nightcraw1er.488: Seriously though, have you guys lost the plot? Without the release discount, the main game + 4 DLC's is £46.51. That is just madness for a game. Even with the discount thats nearly £20. Another release for the 10 years time at 95% discount list this.
Where did you get this price from? It's 40 EUR (without discount) for me and I thought Poland in 'most expensive' group as far as regional pricing is considered?

IAmSinistar: Advanced Medieval Ant Colony Sim?

Certainly looks busy, and sounds like it could be fun. That's some serious AAA-level pricing though. Will see what folks say about it here to determine if it's worth it. And I guess there will eventually be a Gold Complete edition, which won't show as owned even if I buy all the pieces...
While I would like the game, yes factoring in the DLC and the Special Edition is AUD $45.35 which I think breaks my budget for a game I'm not going to get around playing for a while.

And MP3 soundtrack doesn't help the value proposition. FLAC soundtrack and I'd at lest consider it a little longer :)
This could really use a linux port. :(

JudasIscariot: It is Windows-only but I can always try to run it under WINE 1.7.53 and report back :D
I, and I suspect others, would love to know.
Another day, another strategy game.

Good for those who like them I suppose, but there is a glut of them here and I'd kill for some games in genres GOG is severely lacking in, like scrolling shooters, racers or fighting games.

Nice release, but why Special Edition game card isn't mentioning that there are available DLCs? Also is there a possibility to get Special Edition "upgrade/pack" later?
*bangs head on desk*
I got the base game on the 12th of this month!

...I guess my friend gets another free game from me, since I own the "bonus".

EDIT: Actually, this isn't HD like the first game is, so I'll hold off for now.

Yeah, I've just got to pile on.

So at the regular/non-sale price, the Special Edition with all of the DLC, in dollars, comes to $83.95? Really? Wow!

How many games on GOG, in their full collection/non-sale price, DLC included, are more expensive? Pillars of Eternity, Witcher 3 (barely), and ??? It's crazy to think that this is possibly the third most expensive game here....

Just to be clear, I'm not directing this at GOG. It's not their call, and it's the same price everywhere, including Steam.

Honestly, Firefly, what are you thinking?

I added the prices up which were given on the game page, £29.99 base game, £4.18 for 3 of the DLC, £3.98 for the other DLC. With the discount its about 60% off that, and still 40% too high to my liking.
Well, good to see SC2 on Gog.But I won't buy it unless this game can be played on LAN matches. In FAQ,it said that only need to be online to play multiplayer matches. So it won't be my taste.
Looks cool, but they lost me at day 1 "optional content".

Edit: Wait, is this not a brand new game?

It's been out for a while :)
Didn't one of the Stronghold sequels get a mountain of criticism after release, like basic features were broken or omitted? Am I mixing it up with something else?
