Steel Division 2 is now available DRM-free along with considerable DLC content. Save 33% on Steel Division 2, and up to 40% on game’s DLCs until November 14th, 2 pm UTC.

The dust from the allied Normandy landings didn’t settle yet, while on the eastern front an even greater battle begins. Operation Bagration which took place in the summer of 1944 proven to be one of the biggest and most decisive military engagements fought during the Second World War. Now, thanks to Steel Division 2 RTS game from Eugen Systems, you can take command of the two grand armies of the conflict and make effort to change or cement the events of history.

Apart from the original Steel Division 2 game, the release sale will give you the opportunity to buy additional DLC content with new maps, scenarios, and units. Those include Commander Deluxe Edition, Back To War Pack, Death on the Vistula, Total Conflict Edition, five Reinforcement Packs.

The game enables cross-playing with Steel Division 2 players using Steam and Wargaming clients.
Wonderful, hope the first game gets here too soon, preferably with GOG Connect too.
Really good and tempting, I might get this one if I had the money (and the time to play it)
However, Steel Division 2 - Back To War Pack description says: "Play with the most powerful Units & Divisions from Normandy in Steel Division 2! Completely free for Steel Division: Normandy 44 owners"

So, the question is: Is Steel Division: Normandy 44 going to be released here?
I will only buy this if the first game is also available on GOG.

They pulled this crap with Wargame... Had to buy the other two on Steam because they never bothered to sell ALB and Red Dragon on GOG.

Does the game have any randomization for the maps?
Wow! This is one heck of a get! Very glad to see this excellent WWII RTS game on GOG.

I also would love to see Steel Division: Normandy 44 on GOG as well (pairing up the western front with the eastern front just makes sense).
Wow! I can save more than 100 credits if I buy the complete pack!
That's a big surprise to see it on GOG. I own Steel Division: Normandy 44 (1st game in the series) and I have to tell you, it's one hell of RTT game, despite very high difficulty level. I'd like to see the first game on GOG Connect, so I can buy SD2 as well :-)

Wargame was published by Focus Home Interactive and not by Eugen Systems themselves at that time. It was also Focus Home Interactive who removed Wargame: European Escalation from gog. Although it seems that publishing rights for Wargame have now been returned to Eugen Systems looking at Steam. So maybe we will see Wargame also on gog again.

Steel Division: Normandy 44 is published by Paradox. If you wan't that game to come here talk to Paradox.

Steel Division 2 is directly published by Eugen Systems.

I agree. Sales for Steel Division 2 must be really bad for them to bring it to DRM free GOG. ALB and Red Dragon, which had good sales, were never brought to GOG.

Holy crap, IT IS TRUE. Eugen has gotten back the rights for Wargame. Man, I wonder if they will do a new Wargame next.

This is very exciting news.

Anyway, I hope they do a GOG connect so I can import all the 3 Wargame titles to GOG (I own all 3 on Steam).

Shoo shoo, more DRM-free goodness is never a bad thing. Also now Eugen got back publishing right, there's a real chance they will publish EE, ALB and RD on GOG because why not?
RTS wargames aren't usually my thing, but out of curiosity:

Death on the Vistula is included in the History Pass, but Back To War Pack is not?

Total Conflict Edition + Back To War Pack + Reinforcement Packs #1-5 = Everything?

R.U.S.E is a different case. The license for R.U.S.E was owned by Ubisoft who decided not renew the licenses for military equipment and units used in the game. Until the license returns back to Eugen Systems its doubtfull that R.U.S.E could reappear in online stores.

Yep I know the case. Shame, eh?

Got my Steam copy there pretty much unplayed for years. I loved this one on the x360 to be fair. I remember playing it on an old crappy tv I got pretty much for free and having a blast.
