Howling at the exploding stars

Star Wolves 3: Civil War, a tactical strategy/RPG where you fight your way through the surrounding anarchy, is now available, DRM-free on GOG.com, with a 50% launch discount.

The thing about large-scale space conflicts is that, even though they look cool, they usually leave behind a lot of space debris, crippled participating factions, and chaos. This is now the reality of Star Wolves 3: Civil War, where everything is up for grabs among looters, pirates, opportunists, and black market entrepreneurs. You are free to build your own team, follow a non-linear path of missions and open exploration, and take advantage of the anarchy as best suits your needs. The customization options on your ships and companions will further enhance your tactical approach and help you reach deeper into space, where a lone wolf might not dare venture.

Face the intriguing anarchy of space as you head a pack of Star Wolves 3: Civil War, DRM-free on GOG.com. The 50% launch discount will last until April 26, 2:59 PM UTC.
Why do they call them civil wars when they always are so extraordinarily uncivil?

hooray.
So. Where is Rage of Mages? Now that we have the "sequel", Evil Islands...
RTS? Hm, not my cup of tea.
Damn, I already have it, good sci-fi stuff.
Is it just me or is there something seriously wrong with the sound of the promotional video?

Edit:
Actually the one on the Steampage sounds horrible too, though better than the one on gog/yt.

GOG.com:
think about fireglow sudden strike series and allods 1,2
First one was decent and stable. Second completely ignored either of the outcomes of the first part, and also crashed on me about 5 minutes after start (after I dared to click on some kind of hireling offer to see what it is about) and I didn't try it further. But at such launch price, I'm willing to see if the third is any better.
Where is Battlezone 98 Redux GOG?
...and here it is on GOG.
wishlisted Star Wolves 2 + 3
