ThomNG: We are deeply sorry about the issues still occuring on this update/launch. The GOG team and our devs were working hard until the night to get this solved yesterday but have to continue today. Hope that everything will be sorted out throughout this new day. Sorry again and thank you for your patience.
Cmon guys ! You can do it !
Maaaan - this is really messy release.

Thank you for keeping us updated! THQ Nordic is a great company that values its customers and your willingness to see these issues fixed is another proof of that.

ThomNG: Yeah, please give GOG another hour or two. Still working on the build with our dev team, some unfortunate delays were happening but should be solved soon. Like on other platforms, people who own SpellForce 3 will get the SpellForce 3 Reforced Update for free (there will be a SpellForce 3 Legacy (for your old savegames) and a SpellForce 3 Reforced version in all past and future purchases :) ). We have also decreased the base prices for SpellForce 3 (Reforced), SpellForce 3 Soul Harvest and SpellForce 3 Fallen God. Great chance to buy the full franchise now with the sale being active in addition.
Im kinda confused about the "Great chance to buy the full franchise now with the sale being active in addition." I already have the soul harvest expansion but not the troll one (I also own the spellforce 3 base game) so I dont need to but the troll expansion right? Im gonna have It all in the reforced edition?
The Reforced edition is just replacing the prvious base game of SP3. It is not automatically including the DLCs.
However, if you do own also the DLCs you will be able to access them from within the Reforced base game.
Hi all, I'm a bit confused. I do not own any Spellforce 3 products. Can I buy/play "SpellForce 3: Soul Harvest" WITHOUT owning "SpellForce 3 Reforced" or "SpellForce 3: Fallen God"? Is "Soul harvest" is a standalone DLC? Any clarification would be greatly appreciated :)

So I can play with other races with reforced edition but not the story right? OMG what a messy situation. I hope we can see the game so If we dont have the DLCs at the reforced we can purchase them at the discount but we have 24 hours left for It!
Just to reiterate my point from the first few posts in this release thread:

With the original Spellforce 3, people have noted that the GOG build doesn't recognize if you've got Soul Harvest and Fallen God installed as well, which means owners of all three products have been unable to play all the factions they should have access to in skirmish/multiplayer with the GOG build.

As far as I am aware, we have no confirmation thus far that the Reforced build remedies this situation and ThomNG has not responded to any questions about whether the build now functions as intended.

I'd appreciate it if anyone could clarify this point in this thread or the thread of out-of-date game builds once Reforced is actually available here.

You are right! So buying another expansion on GOG would be a waste of money in my situation... Well I play skirmish mostly I wonder If I will have my dark elves in the version...

Keep in mind you can ask for refunds on gog for 30 days after purchase. So if you want to take advantage of the current discount, you could buy the game and its DLC - and if it turns out the build is still borked, you can get a refund. I've only had one refund request thus far and it got handled within a few hours, since I had them refund my money as wallet funds. I guess if you want the money back in any other way, it can actually take a while.

You are right! Thank you for reminding me about that. I will wait until tomorrow. If by then they cant solve the problem your suggestion will be the most sensible way to go.

Yes, the lacking confirmation regarding the issues is the sole reason, why I still hesitate to buy SP3 and all its expansions. GOG or the Devs should really clarify this soon, as I guess I am not the only one hesitating to buy.

This. I was gonna grab Spellforce 3 on sale, but not until I have confirmation this issue is fixed.
