It’s a snow day, dude!

From South Park Digital Studios and THQ Nordic comes SOUTH PARK: SNOW DAY! – the all-new 3D co-op game in which you’ll join Cartman, Stan, Kyle, and Kenny to celebrate the most magical day in any young child’s life - a snow day!

The game is now out, together with its Season Pass, Underwear Gnome Cosmetics Pack, Digital Deluxe Edition, CRED Pack and To Danse with Ravenous Shadows DLC.

Let’s take a look at what this title has to offer!



You can play SOUTH PARK: SNOW DAY! with up to three of your friends, or by using matchmaking to find someone to play. And if playing solo is more your style, you can certainly do so with ally bots.

Here’s what you can expect:

A battle through the snow-piled town of South Park.

Frenetic, action-packed combat against warring factions in an all-new story where you make the rules.

Where is the pre-order gnome bonus pack. As soon as the game became available it was in the library. Now, it is no longer in the library and you are trying to sell it to me. What gives?

Already emailed GOG about that topic and to look into that. Of course the Underpants Gnome Cosmetics Pack DLC is the (free) preorder incentive for all preorders - only now after release, people who have not preordered the game, can purchase it separately.

Hi, and thanks for the uber fast response, Thom. No worries. This is typical GOG, but it's worth the trouble for DRM-free. I love THQ Nordic!!!!! I'll gladly wait.

THQ Nordic also publish most of their games day one on GOG, which I really appreciate. If only they had the rights to publish The Stick of Truth...

Not for me, because the current patch status is particularly important to me personally and THQ is doing really well given the amount of releases here on GOG. As far as I know, the only patches missing are "SpellForce Platinum", "SuperPower 3", "The Book of Unwritten Tales 2" and "This is the President", and I haven't bought these games yet for that very reason.

After all, we're already getting three first-day releases from THQ this month alone. Another publisher should imitate this first. As soon as Outcast is a little discounted (~20%), I'll buy it straight away and maybe Alone in the Dark too, but I still have to hear a few opinions from friends.

So many 4-player co-op/versus arena shooters! At least this one has a setting gimiick going on.

Too bad most kids these days won't know what a Snow Day actually is. Between the remote learning situations and the fact that snow is barely seen in such quantities anymore, this will only be a throwback to us geezers. Maybe in the future kids will have something like a Searing Day! Like the reverse of the Snow Day where you will burst into flame when going outside! That'd be epic.

Because this is nothing like the previous couple of South Park bangers, I don't know if I'll be picking this one up anytime soon. Hopefully it doesn't go the route of most abandoned co-op shooters out there... alive on the outside, but dead inside. Looking at World War Z and Aliens: Fireteam Elite. Those were good games at the height of their popularity, but boy do they plummet when abandoned. The thing is they weren't good enough for massive amount of players to stick around. What were those devs/publishers thinking!? Quick buck?
