nice tautology there. every roguelike is turn-based by definition. you're thinking of roguelites that aren't necessarily.

nothing means anything anymore, it's just a bunch of selling buzz-words
is rogue turned based though? it's more like the world pauses by default when you don't move, than being actual turns
roguelike nowadays means that when you die you start again from scratch usually in a randomly generated environment, I guess
you're right that that should be roguelite...but here they are selling erotic manga VNs as "point and click adventures" so I just don't care anymore, whatever.

As I explained, that is how these games are classified in Japan. Remember, there was no Sierra, King's Quest or Space Quest type games in Japan back in the eighties. So what we call VN's are actually adventure or ADV games over there. Iirc Japan doesn't even use the term VN there. This is just a cultural difference. And some of the early ADV games did have point and click interfaces. The original Yu-No, The Girl Who Chants Love At The End Of The World (elf) did in some areas.
is it something like goulash?

Yeah. Here in Germany, we use(d) the term "Jump'n'Run" for what the rest of the world(?) apparently calls "platformers".

Wow, that's interesting! So is an action platformer over there considered an "action Jump'n'Run?"

The answer is in the screenshots.

While I personally never used the term "action Jump'n'Run" (mostly because I'd consider J'n'Rs to be "action games" in general), it apparently is a term on its own in the German gaming press (a quick Google-check confirms it).
So, to answer your question - yeah.
