TheGrimLord: Funny, I believe in freedom of choice. Seems GOG do too in that respect. They haven't banned me for speaking my mind.

Braggadar: And I believe about taking your shoes off when you enter someone's home, not urinating on the seats of public toilets and not promoting other businesses while on the property of a rival.

Like I said what you do isn't against the rules AFAIK, but it's still rude to do so. Just as it would be if I were to join the Zoom Discord and then advertise how GOG is superior to them in every way (even if it's not true). There's a line you don't cross.

Anyway, I'll relent because the mods don't like off topic stuff clogging their threads. Have a nice day.
I agree with you here, but the fellow observes a different set of manners than the rest of us and I can't really be too upset with that. However, brand loyalty is never good. People can treat these companies like football teams. I can assure you if Zoom screwed something up real bad, I would not take up for them. Brand accountability should very much be a thing.

marcob: No bias-based or morality-based impression...still, judging by the screenshots and presentation, it looks amateurish, bland, not so innovative to balance its basic looks. fear so.
And gee, I wonder if a place called the Hypnotic City is big on Consent?

And gee and I wonder why it matters since it is drawn art ?
I mean we got Postal, Deus Ex, Vampire and countless others, all of these imaginary characters probably gave their consent to be killed....not(And nope in none of those they are necessarily the "bad guys").
But Hypnotic City is problematic.
Western World logic in a nutshell.

I am intrigued though.....what would be your stance on Hatred, the game obviously ?

Don't even go there. None of these are real things with functioning brains or even a consciousness. They don't even exist. There's no lifeform to give them. How can something that does not exist act or behave like a human? It can't. They aren't even people.

On top of that, people have been slinging digital lead at virtual beings since the 90's. That is a lot of imaginary dead folks. Last I checked, the application of bullets against humans is usually not permitted.

The fact that slaughtering pretend people is alright, while boinking them is denied, seems very odd.

The fact that the moment consent was mentioned three different people got triggered tells you all you need to know about the target audience of these games.

Indeed, why did so many people get triggered because of drivel? Hmm... Maybe because these words are nonsense? No, it can't be. They're just in cahoots, yep

I'm sorry that the people of my country are such fucking puritans when it comes to this shit. Meanwhile anime in general is a powerhouse here in the west and these are the same people who say, "think of the children" even though manga flies off the shelves and all the kids are reading it, as lewd as it can be. It's silly, really. Even Demon Slayer which is the most popular anime ever for some reason has it's share of sexuality. And yes, these people are bitching about it too. But if they didn't bitch about it, Twitter would be a very lonely place.

Considering you're from a country where 30% of the gog catalogue has to be region locked because you live under the thumb of an out-of-control nanny state, you're not really in any position to point fingers.

Oh very true, I am not happy with the censorship we have as I assume you are not either.
For Germany it's actually an out of control "youth" protection system which serves little to protect anyone and mostly annoys everyone.
You'll find most Germans are not, wasn't the point, the point is that Americans still tend to think they have and and are the Moral authority and World Police.
And yes I'm stereotyping, I know a lot of good Americans.

Everyone's talking about this being a porn game so I'm guessing porn RPG?

Hey, a new genre: poRnPG!

TZODnmr2k5: Hey, a new genre: poRnPG!
Uh-oh...

Weird thing is the synopsis makes no mention of the adult nature of the game. Not that I could see anyway.

Like I said it's freely viewable in the German store which either means it has very little to no AO parts or there is an uncensor patch I don't see without VPN.

In both cases the Game should stand on it's own without any explicit parts.
