Slay the Spire is now available DRM-free.

Slay the Spire fuses card games and roguelikes together to make the best single player deckbuilder possible. Craft a unique deck, encounter bizarre creatures, discover relics of immense power, and Slay the Spire!
This is great news! I kept watching my friend play this game while we were in class! It seems like a blast! :D

Zoidberg: I'll gladly GOG connect it, now.

I apologize, that wasn't fair, but I really doubt you will see gog connect on this title
:/ Bummer if it's true.

Releasing games exclusively on some stores ages before releasing elsewhere and forcing people to buy again is fucked up...

Oh, and you edited your post? Mind to tell me what you took back?

Zoidberg: Cool! Had bought it in Steam EA but really started playing it post release. It's a really good deck builder roguelite, a bit on the longer side (up to 3h per run).

I'll gladly GOG connect it, now.
3 hours per run how are you playing it? My long games about a hour long usual time for a completed run 40 - 45 mins. This is my favourite game at the moment and if it had achievements I would off double dipped.
Would like to see GoG Connect too.
But if they don't add it, well then i'll play it on Steam.
Won't buy a game twice.
I have over 700 hours on this and have barely tried the mods.

This game has more depth than the Marianas Trench!
No achievement and overlay support?

Well to be fair, some are the special daily runs, but all in all most of the time it takes 30 to 45 minutes per level, and there are three, so. :P

Not that they haven't had time to implement it since the game was released on steam. Definitely not a good sign :/
Looks like an interesting card game. Then again, they all do (ever since I got over my dislike after playing Xenosaga's mini-game), and yet most seem to disappoint me. Having a native Linux version is nice, as well. Doesn't excite me enough for full price, though.

Also, it's not a roguelike, and should not be tagged as such by gog. Not that gog will fix that, or the 33% or so of other games that are obviously not roguelikes.

Also, active store pages suck. In-line images were bad enough, occupying so much space as to force scrolling. Having active images is even worse, especially since my usual browser settings to disable that crap doesn't seem to work on them.

i have it on Steam as well, gotta check the versions to see if they're the same build... the GOG version shows a January "beta" on the main screen... I'll check the Steam version and report back

Checked... see attached... both the same build date, but the GOG build says "beta" on it (bottom left corner of the screenshots)

This looked very interesting. Until I read Roguelike. I don't like modern roguelikes. Too bad that they had to spoil the other, very nice components (turn based, strategy, cards) by making it a roguelike. :-(
I'm very happy this showed up here. Now I just have to wait a few years until it's on sale for an affordable price.
Very good game, Have over 130 hours on steam. Best game of 2019 so far (for me).

I'm not that into roguelikes either but slay the spire is really something different (at least for me) sunk easily over 150 hours into it and it stays challenging,
so many possibilities to play, definitely on higher ascension levels make me want to come back again and again
