Don't believe her lies – Slay the Princess is now available on GOG with a -10% discount that lasts until October 30th, 2 PM UTC.

You're on a path in the woods, and at the end of that path is a cabin. And in the basement of that cabin is a Princess. You're here to slay her. If you don't, it will be the end of the world. She will do everything in her power to stop you. She'll charm, and she'll lie, and she'll promise you the world, and if you let her, she'll kill you a dozen times over. You can't let that happen. Don't forget, the fate of the world rests on your shoulders.

Fully voice-acted with unique hand-penciled art, this new role-playing, psychological horror experience from the creators of Scarlet Hollow will leave you in awe.

Check it out!
Cool trailer :)

GOG.com: Release: Slay the Princess

...unique hand-penciled art
I like that art style.
Instant purchase!

Have been looking forward to this since I've first seen the game and if it's nearly as good as Scarlet Hollow (same dev) this will definitely be my GOTY. :)

Edit: Damn, I forgot the obligatory 'I can save her!' :P

Looks cool, my kind of humor.
But the link to the demo is currently not working.

It was probably part of time limited deal when demo was available. Demo is no longer here, but somone forgot to remove link from game page.
No demo?! I never had a chance to get it. A demo you cannot try is a useless demo.

Completed my first playthrough, still have to wrap my head around some things, but I'm loving it so far!

One of the few games I let the VAs read their lines, there's not a lot of games that achieve this. That and I stuck with my initial decisions, a rare occurance for me as well. :P
The reviews on the GOG store page for this game comes across as being awfully fake to me. Most of them are not even really reviews at all. That makes me wonder what's going on, and why so many IMO fake (non)reviews have appeared.

Also, I remember in the announcement thread for this game the devs commented that they were going to try to add Galaxy Achievements to this game, and that they wanted to do so, but they didn't know how to do that because the engine the game uses is not super compatible with Galaxy Achievements.

But they said they were still going to try to add them anyway, and then other GOG customers replied and informed them about how another dev using the same game engine had somehow solved the problem and figured out how to make Galaxy Achievements work with it.

Although it seems that problem has still never been resolved for this game, since Achievements aren't listed on the GOG store page, which is a real shame.
I surely don’t understand. 1) The description explicitly states that you are here just to kill her. 2) If you don’t, she will destroy the world. 3) We know that she will say anything (any lie, that is) to prevent you from doing that. 4) We can’t romance her. 5) The game isn’t described as an NSFW, so she can’t “persuade” us that way. 6) Pictures depict her that she is really a monster. So, how exactly is it possible for us NOT to kill her??

I mean she surely is a monster and we’ve already killed millions of monsters in all our gaming life. How does she think that she will escape?? How does she think that she’s different from all the others?? In “The Stanley Parable” we didn’t know what to expect / what to do. Here we absolutely know what has to be done! It may be just a matter of minutes...

I would surely like to see this game (in a greater discount)!

As someone that has played the game I can say those reviews come across as genuine.
This is a 10/10 game (to me).
So is this a twisted mental sadomasochistic game ?

I feel so tired: So is this a twisted mental sadomasochistic game ?
Watch the trailer.

ps: It would be sadomasochistic, if the "victim" enjoyed it. Otherwise it's just sadistic.
In this case however, it's about a lethal action (and not something like torture), so it's none of both.

Some good point(s)!

I can't help but think, that the fact(?) that the player himself is some sort of monster (see attachment), will twist the narrative...
I especially think of: "A Night to Remember" (https://youtu.be/ehjJ614QfeM?t=11) and the implication that came with it.
