Hmm, I was hoping the trailer would show me more of the gameplay. Like, can I build my own virtual computer? Or is this just a coding game.

Does anyone know if there is a virtual computer builder simulator out there? I'd love to practice my computer building skills even when I have no money to buy components. Somebody, please get out there and start developing that game because I certainly would buy that. :)
YESSSSSSSSS

is this title for a niche audience; made by coders for coders?
Hmm six months late and not even matched with the 20% discount it's already been sold for.
Too niche for me!
Best programming game out there yet although It's more work than a game. Nice that a solitaire game is included. xD
This looks like the antithesis of fun to me, but your mileage may vary, I suppose.
As someone with an unhealthy affection for cheapo Chinese electronic tat, I've been waiting for this release for a while now, and the setting makes it a little more engaging to me than say, TIS-100.

Sadly, my wallet's taken quite the pounding lately, so I'll have to leave it for the wishlist for now.
So this game is not "too niche" for GOG? Very funny! :D

And where is <span class="bold">SHENZHEN SOLITAIRE</span> ??

Faithful: is this title for a niche audience; made by coders for coders?
Compared to TIS-100, this is a game for casuals. :P
Sounds really interesting.
Wishlisted for now.

It actually does show the gameplay: You take a "breadboard" (or whatever it's called in this game), put programmable modules on it, write the code for them, and set the inputs and outputs for them appropriately. Hopefully what you get at the end is what you intended. :)

In many ways it's an iteration of the same general gameplay formula as SpaceChem and TIS-100: a logic puzzle game where you have to array individual elements together in the right chain, with the right instructions, to give you the product you want.

That's basically what this game is. In Spacechem, you used the above gameplay formula in the context of a chemical engineer producing compounds for their nefarious employer. In TIS-100, you used the above gameplay formula in the context of trying to figure out a mysterious machine through assembly programming.

In this game, you're using the above gameplay formula in the context of trying to figure out how to make various electronic/computing products (e.g. an electronic sandwich maker) for your nefarious Chinese employer.

Edit: You may find this thread will give you a little more insight into the gameplay - https://www.gamerswithjobs.com/node/1300223
