Looks great.

This one gives Dead State vibes; a flawed masterpiece.
Wishlisted.
Awesome, I loved the first game, which I spent well over 200 hrs on in my playthroughs, and this is actually more complex and grander in scope, and on GOG at launch too, nice.
The first was given away on the Epic Store and I'm wondering if they bothered with key rebinding this time...
I saw the gameplay by a youtuber and to be honest the game felt pretty slow and underwhelming. I felt many zombie games made to be slow paced. Not that I hate it but I think this one is more deliberate?

To be fair, this is more of a camp management game; the core gameplay lies in upgrading your camp and keeping your people happy, a bit like the Sims meets Space Colony. Another good comparison is This War of Mine, but less rogue-like.

Yeah I can see that. I'm okay with slower pace games (I love the classic Evil Genius) but the flaw is if the game is too long people can run out of patience and quit in the middle. I played evil genius and after several levels I got annoyed because I can't fast forward when I do mundane stuff and I had to take some time off playing that game before I can pick it up again.

Yes definitely, with a game like this, there is a risk that you will fall into a rut, where things get very reptitive after a while. With the first Sheltered game I did not experience that personally, I think the goals or targets were such that I always felt I had something to work towards, and faced some challenges. So I'm hoping to have a similar experience with this one.
