Finally making dem free throws.

Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn is now available, DRM-free on GOG.com.
After a less-than-stellar first outing back in '94, Shaq is on the rebound, ready to kick evil celebrity ass with sick combos, over-the-top weapons, and a fierce rap track performed by the man himself. Punch, kick, throw and defame these demonic Hollywood posers as you side-scroll through the globe.

Note: Currently the game is English only. The rest of the supported languages (namely FIGS, RU, and BR-PT) will be available shortly.

Lodium: So, Has anyone actually tried the new game instead of judging it by the old one? Yes, its an actual question because im honestly curious on how this game is. I know the old one is bad but seams most people are judging this from the prevous game which is a pre-notion im not intrested in.
I'm sorry, but you're most definitely in the wrong place for that :| these forums are the exclusive domain of those who want to shit-talk every new game release before anyone has ever even played it. And, of course, without even a slight understanding of the fact that their taste is not everybody's taste.
Sorry. But I guess this should teach me about even opening new release threads anymore.

HunchBluntley: What the fulcrum is "FIGS" in this context?
French, Italian, German and Spanish.
I've only ever really heard "EFIGS", though, including English. The most common Multi-5 language combination in European console releases, I think.

I assume "FIGS" stands for French, Italian, German, and Spanish (see: EFIGS). Additionally, "RU" means Russian and "BR-PT" means Brazilian-Portuguese.

EDIT: I posted my answer right as Anamon did!

Okay, if they're going to let this game and visual novels onto the storefront, they have absolutely no excuse for rejecting DUSK and Amid Evil.

Thanks. I had never heard of either variation; I've always just seen those languages referred to individually (EN, FR, IT, DE, ES), and didn't know that there was something like a "standard suite" of supported languages for a lot of games.

Thanks. (I did already know what the others meant.) :)
Curious that that acronym uses the initials of the English versions of all the language names.

What the (Shaq) Fu... did I just watch? :D

Looks completely out there - into my watch-list it goes.

GOG has never rejected DUSK nor Amid Evil.

CARRiON-XCII: GOG has never rejected DUSK nor Amid Evil.
Going by recent gog "curation" as of late, they probably will.

Sometimes not even recent.

Either that, or they will release only to fall behind on patches and updates.

I recall recent tweets by Dave saying DUSK and Amid Evil will come to GOG once they're finished. Both games sell well and are well known, I'd be honestly shocked if they got denied for whatever reason when GOG already has things like Strafe.

I hope so, then we'll have also hope the gog versions don't get left behind on patching or features which has become a growing problem.

With the DevPortal being a thing here all we can do is blame the devs that choose to fall behind. I usually wait a year or two anyways to buy a game, indies included, even on Steam.

I've become skeptical of shifting the blame to devs in recent months. I've gotten into the habit of waiting until a decent sale and check patching then.
Wait, what?

At around the time the games entered early access, he stated that you'd have to ask GOG why the games aren't on their storefront. GOG has quite a few titles on their storefront that are in early access, including Ion Maiden, which I would think would be about as popular with the same crowd, so I assume the fact that they're in early access is not why they're not on GOG. I know he said that he wants the games to be on GOG, but if he said they'll definitely be on GOG when they're fully released, that's news to me, and it's great to hear. I hope it ends up being true.

^^ Very much in agreement with this statement. GOG should be THE place for DUSK and Amid Evil. Not only is Shaq Fu here but Bubsy is too. WTH.... Not Even Heretic, Hexen or Hexen 2 are on here either. Makes no sense -_-
