Finally making dem free throws.

Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn is now available, DRM-free on GOG.com.
After a less-than-stellar first outing back in '94, Shaq is on the rebound, ready to kick evil celebrity ass with sick combos, over-the-top weapons, and a fierce rap track performed by the man himself. Punch, kick, throw and defame these demonic Hollywood posers as you side-scroll through the globe.

Note: Currently the game is English only. The rest of the supported languages (namely FIGS, RU, and BR-PT) will be available shortly.
I swear if there's a power up called Gold Bond...
Really?But why??
low rated
GAG proving curation isn't really a thing here.

So, Has anyone actually tried the new game instead of judging it by the old one? Yes, its an actual question because im honestly curious on how this game is. I know the old one is bad but seams most people are judging this from the prevous game which is a pre-notion im not intrested in.

Because they could. =P

Glaucos: This is not garbage, this is the glorious return of a legend.

MischiefMaker: Won't hold a candle to Barkley, Shut up and Jam: Gaiden.
I agree.
... That looks like some pure innocent mindless fun :D

But "STEEL is next baby!"?

Well... Since Supes died this time a STEEL movie would actually make sense and be a neat addition to the DCEU. But... good luck crowdfunding that :P
WTF? Who would be stupid enough to buy another Faq Shu game? :D

Can't say I have, but one just has to watch some direct gameplay on youtube to see this looks sloppy and janky as hell, belt-scrolling brawlers are one of my all-time favourite genres, and even without preconceived ideas based on its "pedigree" to me this game looks like ass.

What the fulcrum is "FIGS" in this context?
i like the humor and utilizing the shaq fu license is quite funny however, however i dislike the way enemies 'blink' and 'flash' when struck but then bairly react. i always prefer a hard hitting sound effect, plus an accompanying animation, and maybe a little screen shake. that 'blink when hit' effect seems flimsy and mechanical.

Lacking a solid sense of connection and impact seems to be a problem with just about every modern attempt at this genre...

and agree and i don't get that either. that's like the main thing the need to get right. i don't want innovative mechanics and features and minigames and blah dee blah. i want to stroll through the hood and kick the shit out of some homies with a well rounded movie selection and hard hitting sound effects.

for as basic as final fight 2 (for the snes) is, it's like the indiana jones "thwack" of brawlers. it pulls no punches and even the most basic attacks sound like they hurt.

that said, this COULD be fun. i'm going to wait for some reviews and i might eventually pick this up depending on how they look. i'm a huge fan of the side scrolling beat em up genre after all.
Kung Fu Strike: The Warrior's Rise is half the price for ten times the kung fu.
Solid color pallet (did I use the right one there? ;) ) and hilarious weird - is this a remake or a new game or what?
