As for for your other question....i think the Day 1 edition is the way to go because everything is included on the game card. Also the artbook includes art from the DLCs as well.

Nice to see it here though. I sure wasn't about to pay for a Steam copy of the game, and considering it was the only WayForward game I was interested in that wasn't here...

Thanks for bringing it here, GOG and Wayforward! I was already thinking it wouldn't arrive at all :) In fact, I didn't back it on Kickstarter when the crowdfunding happened just because there wasn't a GOG version. If anybody from Wayforward is reading this, take note of that.

I'll buy it for sure before ending the week. At last all PC Shantae's games are here!! :D

she's *ahem* not completely aware how much digital games can cost, so as far as she knows i regularly go to a site called "gog" and "discuss games and tech and sometimes buy a game."

thing is, when i started coming here games were $5.99 and $9.99 and that was the last time i really mentioned price points to her. lol. this makes my gog account my dirty little secret. :-X

but nah, it was just gog being gog. the store page hadn't been activated and clicking the link was taking me to the entire store inventory.

Unfortunately early adopters of this game on Steam got a really bad deal as it won't be updated to this Ultimate Edition nor it will be provided with an heavy discount. It's not a nice move from the developers and discourage buying their games unless a complete edition comes out.
