Half-Genie hero is back in an all-new tropical adventure! Shantae and the Seven Sirens platform game is now available DRM-free on GOG.COM.

In her fifth outing, Shantae gains new Fusion Magic abilities to explore a vast sunken city, makes new friends, and battles the Seven Sirens in her biggest, most thrilling quest yet!

For me the GOG and Steam price is the same. And I happily trade store-specific online-achievements for a DRM-free version. But without Linux support it will have to wait for a high discount anyway.

Amazed to see this on GOG day 1, that is very rare for that company to do. Thing is I love the shantae series to death and own all the physical and digital releases on my favorite platforms of choice. But something about this release feels rushed and dull, I'm still going to get it but from watching gameplay and such I feel it was a last minute thing to throw out for some reason.

Still said, gonna pick it up in a few days once I get paid.
Why is WayForward refusing to support Galaxy? They never add achievements to their games on GOG.
Nice to see a new Shantae game out! I realy gotta play all of the games in the series.
Anyone knows if this is a metroidvania like old Shantae games or a stage-based platformer like Half-Genie Hero?
Also disappointed about lack of linux versions for Shantae games.
The Mexican regional pricing might me bugged, It's currently 30$ and steam is selling it at around 15$

Best to contact support directly.
I just wanted to understand how difficult it is for these companies to add achievements to their games on the Galaxy. They are present on all other platforms, so why not on the Galaxy? What sense does that make? I understand that many here do not care about this resource, but this is not the point, the point is that a good part of the games launched at GOG are sliced, sometimes due to the lack of achievements, sometimes due to the absence of online multiplayer.

This is really annoying, and it never changes.

100% metroidvania
My God, in the Brazilian real, his price at GOG is almost four times higher than Steam's. How absurd!

On Steam: R$ 57,99

On GOG: R$ 171,79

lol

Now that you said this, I went to check:

All those new Retroism releases are R$ 13,99 at steam and R$ 34,99 here. Oh well...

It is more expensive to take out the DRM.

nah, they just forgot to activate regional pricing or something.

The Switch version doesn't have achievements either. I'm a little salty about it.
