Half-Genie hero is back in an all-new tropical adventure! Shantae and the Seven Sirens platform game is now available DRM-free on GOG.COM.

In her fifth outing, Shantae gains new Fusion Magic abilities to explore a vast sunken city, makes new friends, and battles the Seven Sirens in her biggest, most thrilling quest yet!
Cool. One of the rare Day-1 releases from Wayforward. That said, wasn't the Mighty Switch Force collection suppposed to show up here, too? Whatever happened with that?
Happy to see a new entry in the Shantae series! Will definitely purchase at some point, but first I'll wait in case a physical edition gets released in the EU. (The physical release of Half-Genie Hero was really awesome, so glad I waited for that!)

And the summer sale discounts for the older Shantae games could have been even cooler : )

Look, a new $$$$$$$hantae game.

To wishlist will go.

So this game has Steam Achievements on Steam but no Galaxy Achievements GOG. Typical treating of GOG customers like second-class citizens.
Nice to see this as a day 1 release. Kinda sucks it's during the summer sale. Wishlisted for now!

Yup, the release prices are getting ridiculous in Brasil. Look at those retroism/microprose games, 34 reais each when those DOS games were released at 12 or 20 reais. Well, we know who is the culprit here (with the current exchange rate) and unfortunately that's not even one of our worst problems.

Seriously Wayforward? Are you kidding me?.

-GOG version without achievements and 27,99€
-Steam version with achievements and 24,99€

A very fair deal for gog buyers. And a "good way" to help GOG gain customers. Incredible the shameless of some developers.

WoW Good to see another Shantae game released here! but I'll have to put in my wishlist as my gaming budget is pretty small right now and metro+prey is all I can spare... that -$200 per month for RTX 3080's not gonna buy itself!

Publishers who still refuse to add achievements on GOG like Wayforward treat their customers objectively disrespectfully and dare I say they are now inexcusable.
Price dropped to 25 Euro... Damn, why release it during summer sale? Must wait a few weeks unfortunately...

Take a look at the game's store page. For me it says 24,99€ there (says 27,99€ in the sidebar of the announcement post though)

Alexim:
On the level of not having version parity, it irritates me.

On another level, the fact that they can't be bothered to put the effort for something that from my understanding is fairly simple to implement is a sign of the kind of support this version would be expected to receive from the developer.

If they're too lazy to add a couple of lines to make the game compatible with this version, how could anyone trust them to troubleshoot other issues with it?

Now yes, but for a while it was €27,99. I suppose it was the typical publication error, and it's already corrected.
I would have liked a small discount since this game has been out since September 2019 (only iOS...and macOS?).
On the wishlist for now, will wait for a discount. :P
