Important message for all users who pre-ordered Shadow Warrior 3 and Shadow Warrior 3 Deluxe Edition on GOG:

Dear gamers, due to unforeseen circumstances the in-game DLCs that were supposed to be attached to pre-orders of mentioned above titles will have to be delivered to you at a later time.

We sincerely apologize for such a turn of events. As a gesture of apology, we would like to present users who pre-ordered Shadow Warrior 3 and Shadow Warrior 3 Deluxe Edition on GOG with free versions of the previous games from the series:

· Shadow Warrior (2013)
· Shadow Warrior 2

All pre-order owners will receive 2 codes – each for one of the above titles. The keys are available in the "downloads" section of your account. Just check the "serial keys" segment in your library.
¿There will be a purchase option to upgrade to deluxe? I want to play the game now, but i don't want to pay full price two times for the extras.

Ancient-Red-Dragon: I don't like this game because:

- I heard it's only 6 hours long, which is a ludicrously short length given it's high price tag.

- I resent how they fired the real Lo Wang voice actor, for SJW reasons, solely based on his ethnicity.

- They didn't even draw Lo Wang properly in this game either; that guy is a different character than the real Lo Wang from the first two SW games from the same devs.

- The atmosphere looks like a My Little Pony cartoon, instead of the grim, dark, gritty, horror style of atmosphere that the first SW game from these devs has.
the REAL Lo Wang. I'm not sure of what to laugh at more from this post, but, the REAL Lo Wang XD

Enebias: Personally, I like the new visuals and the tone. I prefer my shooters to be full ahead stupid -a bit like the original Shadow Warrior of the '90s was.
I'm a bit tired of all games taking themselves too seriously, and you can find grim darkness everywhere already. A bit of weird "carnival" demons is a welcome change.
so I guess that if you have not played Bulletstorm or Journey to the Savage Planet yet, it is very much on your todo list?

and I don't mind the visuals either

NuffCatnip: The game crashed a bunch of times during my hour of playtime, runs choppy on my system and I heard coil whine a couple times.
Uninstalled and asked for a refund, the game seems fun, but I'll wait for a few months until they (hopefully fixed those issues.
yep, i fear this will be too much for my laptop, also I doubt it will run decently Hellblade 2 and a Plague's Tale 2. But there's plenty of good old games out there, right?
Don't worry, ULTRAKILL's coming out eventually and your laptop will run it.

he means that there is a way the REAL Lo Wang looks like, this made me laugh. Nothing to do with JWG, as he doesn't look like Lo Wang nor Lo Wang does look like him.

I actually played them both! :)
I sincerely would like to thank the devs for releasing (what seems like a good game) with a pre-order exclusive skin attached to it.

Since this item will most likely never be available for purchase post release, they just saved me from spending €45 (or €60 for the deluxe) on their own game. Now that's what I call business.

Shadow Warrior 3 will take 500 hours to complete 60 times.

MischiefMaker: ...but if it weren't for people REEEEE-ing in the comments, I'd have no idea they changed Lo Wang's voice actor. The new guy has practically the same voice and delivery.
I detect a difference, but I'm not up in arms about the change. Maybe I'd feel more strongly if I'd played the previous two games.

To Hell with political correctness. They should have hired me to do his voice and I'm nowhere near Chinese. I doubt I could do his voice as well as JWG did but I'm willing to try.
The game's optimization looks vers decent ! I was afraid of playing this on low (Wang) settings.

This game is just insane! It's totally mental and totally brilliant! I absolutely love it.

Right, I need to be at work in 6 hrs. Do I a pull an all nighter and play this or get some sleep?

I may go to bed so I can savour playing this game over the next few days

I can't comment on the length of the game, but if it a tad short, I do hope they release some dlc.

I'm a pretty big fan of the first two games and I dont think it's a deal breaker. I did question the decisions but in the grand scheme of things it's not a big deal, and I doubt it would detract from enjoyment of the game.

Some people get really hung up on the little things, though. Like that kid having a fit about the peach fuzz on the protagonists face in Horizon. I don't want to be that kid! haha

My lowly computer wouldn't do this game justice so I'll probably give it a wait. And this makes me sad because this is one of the few video games I've been looking forward to releasing. But I'm glad it's out!

Just been playing it for an hour

New voice Actor is great, plenty of comic gusto and emotional range to boot. Voice sync for cut scenes isn't great (been spoilt by CP2077's voice sync tech)

Game is fast, furious, but also forgiving on jumps. Real sense of being a super ninja badass

Simplified ammo system just means your just going straight into the carnage.

So far, very happy customer
Hows it compared to the first one? (yet to play)
