Double the katana, double the attitude.

UPDATE: Did you get the regular Wang and realised he's not shiny enough for you? Now you have the option to upgrade to Deluxe Edition and get all that extra swag that was missing from your life!

Shadow Warrior 2, the bombastic sequel to the notoriously cheeky FPS, is now available, DRM-free on GOG.com, with GOG Galaxy support for achievements and multiplayer, plus cross-play across all PC platforms.

He will slice, he will dice, he'll make the demons pay the price. Lo Wang is once again caught in the middle of a cataclysmic fight that involves dark magic, dark science, and a whole bunch of misshapen monstrosities. But the talented death-dealer is now packing an expanded selection of murder weapons, including his katana, daggers, and hand claws, alongside some nasty magic powers and dependable firearms. The 4-player co-op, the procedural environments, and the brutal damage system will make using these new toys all the more rewarding and Wang's trash-talking all the more justified.

NOTE: Shadow Warrior 2 supports cross-play for public multiplayer matches, allowing GOG Galaxy players to team-up with friends from Steam against the ugly minions of darkness.

Carve up some nasty demons with your edgy swagger in Shadow Warrior 2, DRM-free on GOG.com. Want to add some more style to your mayhem? The Deluxe Edition comes with the soundtrack, the artbook, and the Solid Gold Pack.

In the press:
"Holy shit, I need some more of that!"
USgamer
"Shadow Warrior 2 is an energetic shoot 'n' loot with great melee and ranged combat, co-op, and a pile of dirty jokes."
8.6/10 – IGN
"Shadow Warrior 2 is a blood-soaked triumph packing more weapons than an army"

It's good.

shmerl: So, how soon is the Linux version coming?
avatar
Digital_CHE: Two years, like Shadow Warrior 2013?
I really hope not. Since they already have Linux support for the engine, it should be way less work.
Damn it, should've bought the Deluxe Edition instead of the standard one, even if only for this one track!

I have the game running in the background just so I can listen to the song. xD

Wish there was an upgrade to deluxe edition. Last I heard the devs were looking into it at least.

Nah, it's impossible right?
That's what we were told about Pillars of Eternity. :P

Unlike Pillars of Eternity, there is no upgrade option even on Steam, so everyone gets to share the suck equally.

What suck? Tell me about the suck.

That there is no upgrade to the Deluxe Edition in either store.

I preorderer the basic because the I really wanted the chainsaw katana (and the devs imessed me with the first Shadow Warrior). I didn't know enough about the soundtrack to get the deluxe. I find I really do like the soundtrack and now really want to upgrade - and can't do it. So it does kinda suck.

Still - the game is worth the preorder though :)
Frankly i didn't pre order the deluxe because i didn't even knew existed, i suspected it, but didn't found it on the page nor any link on the game page so i just took the base version

After finishing this game i can clearly say that it does worth a little more then what i paid, so i won't be against an upgrade

GOG really need a better store page, or at least a better detailed page where all option are clear and available even in pre order

News about pre-order SW2 clearly says about Deluxe version (and soundtrack in it).

I hope they add the upgrade to the deluxe edition sooner than later.
From what I heard it looks like a fun game to play with friends :) Definitely looking forward to buy it, but not right now ((
