Double the katana, double the attitude.

UPDATE: Did you get the regular Wang and realised he's not shiny enough for you? Now you have the option to upgrade to Deluxe Edition and get all that extra swag that was missing from your life!

Shadow Warrior 2, the bombastic sequel to the notoriously cheeky FPS, is now available, DRM-free on GOG.com, with GOG Galaxy support for achievements and multiplayer, plus cross-play across all PC platforms.

He will slice, he will dice, he'll make the demons pay the price. Lo Wang is once again caught in the middle of a cataclysmic fight that involves dark magic, dark science, and a whole bunch of misshapen monstrosities. But the talented death-dealer is now packing an expanded selection of murder weapons, including his katana, daggers, and hand claws, alongside some nasty magic powers and dependable firearms. The 4-player co-op, the procedural environments, and the brutal damage system will make using these new toys all the more rewarding and Wang's trash-talking all the more justified.

NOTE: Shadow Warrior 2 supports cross-play for public multiplayer matches, allowing GOG Galaxy players to team-up with friends from Steam against the ugly minions of darkness.

Carve up some nasty demons with your edgy swagger in Shadow Warrior 2, DRM-free on GOG.com. Want to add some more style to your mayhem? The Deluxe Edition comes with the soundtrack, the artbook, and the Solid Gold Pack.

In the press:
"Holy shit, I need some more of that!"
USgamer
"Shadow Warrior 2 is an energetic shoot 'n' loot with great melee and ranged combat, co-op, and a pile of dirty jokes."
8.6/10 – IGN
"Shadow Warrior 2 is a blood-soaked triumph packing more weapons than an army"
RockPaperShotgun

I loved Shadow Warrior 2013, it was brilliant and I'd buy the second one too if there was a Linux port again.
Any chance for Linux support?
Let the massive insta-buys begin.
Strange price changing ?!

It was 29€ (~$31) for pre-ordering. Then the discount was over and the game released 34,99€. Now I just re-visited gog and it says 36,99€ ? Was this a move from the publisher or did I miss something? :P
Lets get some Wang!

Edit: And now with the new store entries, the site thinks that I dont own the deluxe edition so it might be worth looking into that GOG.

A Linux port is planned. I intend to buy this as soon as the Linux version is available

Not high...
Looks like the loyalty discount was tied to preorder. NVM, I'm sure there will be another chance to grab this. Preferably after there is some more information available if procedurally generated FPS was a good idea or not. For me the preorder price was too great to take such chance.

Paweł is our level designer and didn't know about our target platforms.

Also to clarify. I have nothing against the price, I just think it was a bad move in the end, since you can get the game now cheaper on gmg than directly on gog or steam..

adamhm:
I see, thanks. However, this sentence doesn't confirm nor deny anything by itself. [url=http://steamcommunity.com/app/324800/discussions/0/343785574529270965/]This other post seems to do, though:
Linux and Mac versions are upcoming. No support at launch.
Anyone wanting to bet how long after launch will they land?
I'll definitely buy this once it reaches $10.
Sigh.. being broke is not as much fun as they make it out to be on TV.

Oh, no! Is there any wishlist-entry for these kind of bugs?
Nothing dramatic, but it should be fixed anyways.
I really wish some more information about cross platform play between Steam and GOG had been distributed before release (including whatever server browser mechanism you will use) because although I would have preferred to purchase it here, my co-op partner pre-ordered it on Steam before I got to have the GOG-talk with him, so I pre-ordered it there as well.

Anyway, really excited for this one.
