The_Gypsy: Does this have local multiplayer?

Edit: PCGW says it supports hotseat, can anyone confirm this please?

Anothername: Not first hand but Gogs game page itself advertises it in the games features:

• Fight alone against an AI, face your friends in Hotseat or face opponents from all over the world in Online Mode
As a supplement
Online Multiplayer requires logging in to Asmodee.net account (Applies also to Ticket to Ride)

Hotseat aint online.

Not that it would be the first time that its false; but if taken as advertised the hotseat is a separate thing.
My Mech has fur, call 112!

Mr.Mumbles: As much as I like boardgames, I can never get excited about their digital versions. It just isn't the same as playing against people across the table.
Good luck doing that right now.

IronArcturus: Is this similar to Settlers of Catan?
It's way more complex.

The store page announces: "Fight alone against an AI, face your friends in Hotseat or face opponents from all over the world in Online Mode".

Cool, so the online mode is available, cool.

I haven't played SoC but this is an enjoyable game if you like board games with more depth than average.

Thanks. I missed it when I scanned over the page and I only thought to text search for 'multiplayer' and 'local'.

I hope that they wouldn't force that for hotseat play.

tremere110: Good catch! Both games take place in the same setting (Jakub Różalski's World of 1920). They are very different games otherwise.
Thanks! Didn't know that :D
I own the kickstarter version of this board game, telling you now it's a great board game. never even knew there was a Video game on this. but if it's actually what it is from the video, I would recommend this 100%. Great game all the way.
Obvious question. How is the AI ? How is the skirmish/campaign mode?
Sorry, I can't buy the game, GOGs new payment system is not working.

Yes, I've checked and I can confirm that it has hot-seat, 100% offline (when starting a "normal" game, you can choose how many players you wish to add and who should be human player/AI.

Didn't play yet with AI (will try to play a bit and share my impressions though), but I've checked that there is no distinction on skirmish and campaign, it's just a new game and "online" new game.

I admit that I'm a bit interested in the physical game for some time, so I wanted to ask about your impressions of playing the "physical" version - how long is the usual session? Is the game very complicated and is there a lot of hassle with preparing the game/using all elements?

Thanks for the confirmation.

Gameplay time would depend on how many players and how fast they play. The same goes for setup. It'll always take at least a few minutes to get everything out and ready though as there's a good amount of stuff to prepare. I think my last game was under 3h for 3 players and none of us are well versed in the game.
The regional price in Brazilian Real on GOG is 3X higher than on Steam!

Steam: R$ 37.99

GOG: R$ 114.49

Count 2 hours, 2 hours and a half.

Read the rules first then on your first game you can stick to the reference sheet that's one page.

Thanks Gypsy and Zoidberg. I'm usually checking this stuff before buying any board game, since I'm playing mostly with my siblings, they simply don't like if game is taking more than 1-1,5 hours or has too much elements/stuff to deal with. Which I totally understand - I remember when we've played for the first time in Relic (base game), which took about 3 hours and everyone was tired and annoyed.
