A gnomish adventure of cosmic proportions.

<span class="bold">Samorost 3</span>, an adorable puzzle/adventure of rewarding experimentation atop strange worlds, is now available DRM-free on GOG.com for Windows and Mac.

You've saved your home planet. You've rescued your dog from alien kidnappers. Now adventure knocks at your miniature door once again, as a magic flute of mysterious origins falls from the sky and into your curious hands.

In the past, we've entrusted Amanita Design with our endearing journeys through Machinarium's aluminum metropolis and Botanicula's microscopic ecosystem and never failed to emerge emotionally refreshed. But it all started with Samorost, a unique blend of fantastic imagery and whimsical sound design that immediately invoked a lighthearted familiarity. In the vastly expanded universe of Samorost 3, the structured randomness of Amanita's signature cause-and-effect gameplay mechanic is once again at the core of the Gnome's interactions with the bizarre worlds and their even more eccentric inhabitants. Will you be able to find out just where this peculiar flute came from? What dangers, mysteries, and friendships await as you explore these intriguing, unfamiliar planets? All the answers are just one click away. Or several, if you are lucky.

Interact with <span class="bold">Samorost 3</span>'s vividly imagined worlds and creatures while searching for the owner of a magic flute, DRM-free on GOG.com. Can't get enough of the intoxicating visuals and tunes? Click at the <span class="bold">Cosmic Edition</span> and see how the artbook and soundtrack respond. But if you are not ready to commit just yet, you can always grab these wonderful goodies <span class="bold">later</span>.

I really loved Amanita's other games so I'll definitely play this one :)
I am waiting for Humble Samorost 3 Debut bundle!!!

I liked Samorost 2 and Botanicula a lot, so I'll definately pick it up... eventually. Not for this price however. Given what those other two games were, although very nice, this seems a bit overpriced.
Looks nice. I will definitely wait until the devs have revealed whatever tricks they plan to play on GOG customers.
absolute insta-buy :)

first, because of national pride!

second, because I love their games' aesthetics, music, atmosphere and uniqueness

and third, because I want to know what's going to be the next destination of Polokonzerva! :D
Got it! Complete with art and OST.

AmanitaDesign is one of the developers who are worthy of every cent for all the fun and smiles they are giving.

...
National pride is overrated, the very little there is to be proud of is more than compensated by all the nasty stuff (that is true for any nation).
I was underwhelmed by Botanicula and Machinarium (I never even finished either of them because I was bored, though part of me wants to go back and finish Machinarium some day I suppose, and they weren't BAD boring, just, mediocre boring) but Samorost 3 looks like it is deeper/more involved than those, sooo, it makes me curious. I definitely like the artwork and look of it.
Awesome release! As I said in another thread, I hoped it would be priced similarly to Machinarium & Botanicula but as it is, I'll have to wait for a while before buying it eventually.

What are you talking about?
Wishlisted in my case.
Linux?
Great to see this on GOG as well. I played the original Samorost when the second one was released on GOG and was really impressed by what Amanita Design managed to do with a simple flash game. It was short and sweet, a perfect game for introducing kids to the point and click adventure genre in my opinion.

Then I played Samorost 2 earlier this year and immensely enjoyed my time with it as well. The charming minimalist approach of these games is just really appealing to me so I know that Samorost 3 will be more of the same goodness, insta-wishlisted. :)
