Update: Classic top-down mode (no FP) does not seem to be working....maybe i am missing something?

As a matter of fact, it can be seen at four different places (the highlights carousel, the new releases list, the news section at the bottom of the storefront and in the forum)...just not at the same time.

First it was visible in the new releases list.
After that, it was made visible in the news at the bottom (but got initially pulled from there again).
Then it was made visible in the highlights carousel.
And lastly it was made visible in the forum...two hours down the timeline.

not sure about that, I think the forum for the release needs to be made first before the release is added at the bottom of the news section.

my guess would be, it probably got pushed down to the bottom for the lack of activity at that specific time

You forgot the best one, the blast from the past news page, which is the easiest to view in my opinion (at least after some CSS changes to make it work with larger fonts :/ ). Plus it doesn't require you to load the entire home page if you just want to look at news and you can look back as far as you want. Not that it really changes your list since it must be the same feed as the news on the home page.

You can toggle the map by double pressing M quickly. Same with the the shift key and speeding up the game.
