Reclaiming your soul, one fireball at a time.

Risen 3: Titan Lords, an epic open-world RPG about wresting your soul back from the forces of evil, is available now DRM-free on GOG.com with a 50% launch discount.

Unchecked by the gods, the Titans were free to ravage the land, leaving humanity broken to lick its wounds, regroup, and launch a desperate attempt at retaliation. You awaken from a sleep of the dead, after a fateful encounter with a Shadow Lord has left your soul trapped in the Underworld. Claiming it back will prove a desperate race against time as the longer it stays separate from your body, the closer you get to becoming an unwitting minion of the Shadows.

Allying yourself with one of the opposing guilds has been a pinnacle of the series and in Risen 3 you must be particularly cautious when choosing sides as everyone has their own secret agenda and ulterior motives. But when politics and shady dealings fail, you can always rely on your glistening weapon or your blistering fireballs to bend the open-world to your will. Devastating magic, intense combat, and open exploration await you in the shadow of the Titan Lords.

Choose your path to greatness and reunite with your soul in Risen 3: Titan Lords, DRM-free on GOG.com. If you crave the extra adventures found in the game's DLCs, treat yourself to the Complete Edition now or opt to upgrade later.
The 50% launch discount will last until the end of our Weekend Promo on February 23, 7:59 AM GMT.

NuffCatnip: One day, one day we´ll get the game. :D
And buying the game on gog is a really good excuse to play through the game again. :)
Maybe it will be a day similar to the one where Deep Silver and Nordic released Saints Row 2+3 and Darksiders 1+2 here. Or maybe it will be a bit before the release of the Saints Row reboot.

There are no infos regarding the new Saints Row, I really hope they dont wait for that game to release SR IV here. xD

But like you said a "bundled" Deep Silver release would be nice, something like SR + Dead Island or something.

MBiL_248: Secret Files Tunguska

IAmSinistar: I'd buy that immediately if it showed on GOG. I'll buy pretty much any game based off of a real-life mystery, even if it doesn't turn out as good as I had hoped (ref. Kholat).
Yeah, I like such settings as well - especially in case the backgrounds are well researched and the game offers story-wise a conclusive solution of the events. (To be honest: Secret Files Tunguska doesn't, but it's a decent p&c adventure.)

Nice, I have the title in Steam but, like the first two, I will rebuy here too

Grargar: Well, even though I haven't heard particularly good words about Risen 3, at least it's another Deep Silver release. Next stop, Saints Row IV plox.
avatar
NuffCatnip: Maybe today´s Deep Silver day and we´ll get Saints Row IV in 2 hours ? (wishful thinking xD)
Saints Row 4 I would buy even without the 50% off :)
And is Risen 3 worth it?
avatar
Grargar: Not in this case. Just some quirks of GOG's conversion rate. If you use €, the price is more or less the same:

Base game: €9.99
DLC: €4.99
Complete Edition: €14.99

Yup, you pay one whole cent more, but you also have the benefit of never again seeing the Complete Edition box remain unowned. ;)
We've been trained from physical retail that buying larger pack = some sort of discount compared to buying individual parts, that's why it is a bit surprising pricing model. I'm not the one to worry about 0.01€ difference - in fact, complete edition is already in my account. Along with 1 and 2, all of them in backlog. *sigh*

The things I do to show that there IS market here for openworld RPGs. Hear that, Bethesda?? Could have been your money!
Finally it's on GOG - thank you! :-)

Martek: *snip*
But if you meant this vid is supposed to be 'relevant' in terms of telling us what to expect from the game - it's not even close to being useful for that.

Just my take..
I wasn't all that serious :P
It is a fun video though.

Holy crap, this is huge! Can't wait to play it, especially since I've read that out of all Risen games this one's supposedly closest to the Gothic series.
Awesome to see Risen 3 show up here. I've only got the first game but want to get the 2nd and 3rd complete games also some time in the future and much prefer to get it from GOG than Steam for sure! Keep 'em coming!
Thanks, I've been waiting for this one.
This game has one of the worst RPG trailers I've ever seen. Specially considering it's a 2014 game.
Just... awful :P
