When this was announced to be a Steam-exclusive game, I thought: They will crush! And they did---we´ve got it DRM-free. YEEEEEES!
Instabuy for me!
Great! It was really annoying that before it was using steam.

Eh it has been on Steam for two years already, exclusives are rarely lifetime exclusives.. just long enough to get attention for that particular platform.

Because A) I'm broke and B) it's not that good of a game and C) I already own it on Steam because it's been bundled I won't be getting it as of yet.
Perhaps I'll get it sometime during a 80% sale just to have a DRM-free copy.
Well, at least this series is out of the way now...
Is this a hardcore RPG?

PrinceCola: Is this a hardcore RPG?
Depends on how you define hardcore, but I would say no.
There's no managing a million stats or intricate party management or anything like that.

PrinceCola: Is this a hardcore RPG?
I mean, its hardcore insofar as it's a janky mess with more depth than Diablo.

It's also not fun.
Picked up the Gold Edition on Amazon (for Steam) around Christmas for $5.99... definitely waiting for a better sale here. Wishlisted for now.

Not for long though, Risen 3 is announced for this summer.
GOG, once again you made my day! Even though I have the Collector's edition already, it's with DLC's not included, while Steam bullshit included. And here I have the Gold edition just for the price of one DLC. GREAT!!! Thanks a lot.

Augh!!

Well, at least there's plenty of time for the Metro series to squeak by before then.
Great pirate adventure. Had more enjoyable time than with AC4. No god damn collectibles! Funny dialogues! Actual exploration!

Sure combat is not great and technical side is a bit spotty in some aspects (although I fixed that with mods), but this was still supremely enjoyable romp.

Speaking about mods, someone knows if a mod to detect the traps exists?

Really? So Skyrim will come to GOG too? Is it two years old already? :)
I enjoyed Risen 1 (with a lot of bugs) but Risen 2 was surprisingly boring to me. I will give that game another chance now and buy a non-steam version...
