Looks nice. This game reminds me the Carmen Sandiego saga ^_^
It looks nice, but unfortunately it's regionally priced (with higher price points than the base price). Won't buy it because of that and wait for it to appear in a bundle instead.

Some of you looking for the board game feel, this is in the ballpark: http://www.flyingfrog.net/fortuneandglory/fang_about.html

(My current top favorite board game.)
game doesn't run. Tried uninstalling galaxy.dll and it tells me the .dll is missing so the game still can't run.

edit: yep, the game is galaxy dependant until someone decides to upload a fix... thanks.

have a look at my troubleshooting steps on the game's forum. I'm very disappointed, to say the least.

What? Optional galaxy is mandatory if you want to play the game? Even if it is only needed once.

well, it's not the first time galaxy check is not working properly... please send a report to support, I can't test it properly as I have all my comps "infected" by galaxy (installed/uninstalled, with possible leftovers in registry) ;)
Regionally priced and client bound, oh gog... :(

Let's just hope that galaxy will never be available for Linux so at least we penguins won't have such problems.
This game has a Linux port, so I suggest using this one. ;)
Who'd have thought that there will be a day when Linux gaming has become so much more convenient?

Awesome, I'm glad this was cleared up promptly! :)
Yup, I downloaded it with the GOG downloader, and it worked perfectly.

Here's a tip: Don't include galaxy.dll within any installer from the website. If people want to use Galaxy, let them scan for installed games (or download via Galaxy) and then add the galaxy.dll and all needed files AFTER a user has agreed to it. This will also be helpful if Galaxy is no longer around so you don't have polluted installers.
After watching the GOG twitch stream of this game, I'm even more excited to eventually try it out. I don't get excited about new games this much generally. The last time I was this anxious to buy a brand new game was when Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes came out on PS3, first time I ever paid full price for a brand new, digital only game.

The only issue that I hearing about with this game is that it is built to be very short and you can't possibly explore everything or come close to fully upgrading your team. As I understand it, though, the devs are considering making adjustments to allow longer games for those who choose. I would definitely be in the camp wanting that type of option.
That's just like Reus. The moment you actually get to build the interesting buildings your time is up. =p
