Stars, robots, and Greek mythology - it’s all there and it is glorious.

Relayer Advanced is now available on GOG! This amazing simulation RPG depicts an epic battle between Starchildren, who have awakened to the will of the stars, and Relayer - a mysterious intelligent life form that plans to invade the earth.



Players will command the Stellar Gear unit that the Starchildren board and battle against the Relayer forces. On stage, you will lead their troops to victory by making full use of many strategic systems: Hate - which quantifies how easily enemies target you, Skills - specific to jobs and characters, Backstab - which launches pincer attacks, and Big Bang - incredible special move.



But that’s not all - 13 Relayer Advanced DLCs and 3 various Packs are also now available on GOG, all with a 10% launch discount (including the base game) that lasts until November 25th, 3 PM UTC.

11 of the DLCs contain modified Stellar Gear mecha units for Starchildren:
Astoria NEXT (modified unit for Terra)
Amaterasu NEXT (modified unit for Sun)
Herschel NEXT (modified unit for Uranus)
Petasos NEXT (modified unit for Mercury)
Galaxy Star NEXT (modified unit for Milky Way)
Comet NEXT (Modified unit for Halley)
Al-Jauza NEXT (modified unit for Mintaka)
Epsilon NEXT (modified unit for Alnilam)
Zeta NEXT (modified unit for Alnitak)

And when it comes to other 2 DLCs:

Spin-Off Stories - collection of three fully-voiced spin-off stories about the daily lives of the Asterism crew that are not included in the main story. Also unlocks the Azur's Battle Data and custom chip, which increases SG earned.

Into The Lost Code - original soundtrack of the game.

But don’t worry, you don’t need to get all of those individually:

Stella Gear NEXT PACK - includes 9 of the modified mecha units mentioned above.
EXTRA PACK - includes the base game and Stella Gear NEXT PACK.
Season Pass - includes 2 of the modified mecha units mentioned above and 6 brand new ones that will be released on November 24th.

So lemme see if I understand this right.

We're being charged 3 whole buckazoids a piece for in what in all practical accounts appears to be a glorified paintjob, separately for the soundtrack, and you gotta shell out some more just to get an audiodrama CD?

Maybe I'm a bit old, but I seem to remember a time when this would all be stuff crammed into the game data, instead of being sold piecemeal.

What's the point of the skins anyway when most of the game is going to take place in a zoomed out SNES style tactical grind with lots of glittery space backgrounds, anyway?

So besides the story spinoff, these DLCs are just upgraded versions of the mechs from the main game?

Not new missions or anything like that?

Main game + 9 Mecha pack is CHEAPER than buying the Extra Edition (almost 10 Euro more base price).

Who makes the price decisions here? That is quite, quite bad math guys...

So buy EVERYTHING seperately if needed. Main game, 9 Mecha Pack, Season Pass (WTF?) and soundtrack pack.

Cool.

Yup, the Story Spin-Off seems to be the only DLC worthwhile to buy. I never have and never will care for extra skin/clothing DLCs with or without cheat mechanics.

I pledged on Kickstarter for Zoria...I got my Beta key for GOG...I cannot Download the BETA on my direct DL page.
I need to use Galaxy,problem,no Galaxy for Linux.
So if I would asked for a Beta key for Steam...I would be able to play on Linux right now!
So great for DRM free...

Yep...my choice to let die GOG and buy all the next games on Steam to be able to...play them on my choosing OS...
A long time ago multiplayer games here was always with LAN option.
Not anymore...most of the last Multi games here you are forced to use Galaxy.
So...DRM free...really?

And a lot of games have a Linux build...on Steam Only.
So...why,I should buy here first?

Most new games nowadays don't even have LAN. Not sure why you are surprised when new game has no LAN play. Like I said, you can always buy games on steam. No one is forcing you at gunpoint to buy from GOG.
