In a mood for some retro vibes? We got something right for you! REKKR: Sunken Land is coming to GOG with a -33% launch discount! The offer lasts until January 27, 2 PM UTC.

REKKR: Sunken Land is an immensely retro FPS set in a faux norse-celtic fantasy world in the midst of a war with the dead. Better get ready to grab an axe and get your revenge – dodge fireballs, run, gun, and explore across 4 episodes of pixely death. And, occasionally, rescue a puppy.
Could any of REKKR owners on GOG confirm whether it has the VR-3KKR expansion episode or not?
Because everything else is pure speculation.

Lucian_Galca: What are the version differences?
Only thing I am sure of is the Lossless WAVE Soundtrack, as that is around 900 Mb.

GOG's version setup file is a bit larger than the ZP version, so who knows what any other difference is.

Glad to hear that .
Any chance then for the WAV soundtrack to be made available for purchase here too?

Timboli: Yet another game that ZOOM Platform had but GOG didn't ... until now.
That's happened with a good number of games over the last year, but isn't a one way street, as ZP have also gotten games that weren't there, but were at GOG.

There appears to be some difference between versions though.

I likely won't buy it again here, as there doesn't appear to be any reason to.
I'm little surprised ZOOM didn't falsely accuse GOG of undercutting them again. haha

Anyways nice to see the game on both stores.

I think it's been on Steam since Oct. 2021. Naturally the a small dev / pub like this will want to release on bigger stores.

And of course plenty of GOG versions of old games ended up on Steam years ago, one of the most notable examples being the Square Enix titles GOG had exclusively for a few years.

Z-P got Submarine Titans recently which has been on GOG and Steam for a few years (and some other Strategy First games that I assume GOG rejected; Big Mutha Truckers 2 looks fun).

The last seven releases were all games GOG had first. It's weird the double standard GOG gets compared to ZOOM.

Edit: Big Mutha Truckers 2 is pretty damn fun and happy it was released DRM free. They did good job on it.

This Zoom Platform talk is completely off-topic. Is it really necessary to derail this thread with it?

Back to the game.

idbeholdME: A great TC for Doom.

Also reminder that a free version of REKKR exists, for anyone who wants to check it out:
https://www.doomworld.com/idgames/levels/doom/megawads/rekkr

The only difference AFAIK is that there is no 4th episode in the free one, but different bonus levels. But at this price, there is really no reason not to support the creator if you like it.
Thank you for the link.

People did go off topic about Selaco as well. REKKR looks pretty good and might pick it up on future sales.

I think talking about other and similar games like Selaco is OK, but talking about that other store and what they released or not is purely off-topic. It is also pointless.

I just saw that there is also a standalone version of REKKR with Chocolate Doom on their official website:
http://mockingbirdsoftworks.com/downloads.html

If people are interested in Selaco they can vote for it on the wishlist here:

Lucian_Galca: Edit: Seems the gog version does include the expansion pack.
Huh. Alright. I stand corrected. *edits previous post in a very cheeky way*

I believe there are some other slight changes too, but yeah.

Anyway, just played this within the last month. Probably my favourite Doom engine game/TC/IWAD (aside from the actual Dooms).
