Between a red rock and a destructible place.

UPDATE: You can now add the game's 32-track Soundtrack to your collection, also with a 50% discount. Drop the beat like a hammer!

Red Faction Guerilla: Re-Mars-tered is now available DRM-free on GOG.com, 50% off until July 10, 5pm UTC.

The ultimate Mars demolition simulator returns, now with its exploding bits fully remastered to look better than ever. Carve your own red path on the open-world surface of the Red Planet as a flamboyant member of the Red Faction. Employ guerilla tactics against everything on sight, level fully destructible settlements with aplomb, and exploit the game's temperamental physics as you reduce the Earth Defense Force to cinders.

Experiment513: Why care so much about achievements? o.O

Alexim: This has become a matter of principle: why here on GOG should we have a lower version of the game?
And why do they refuse to respond to any request for explanations?
Maybe some people also need this for a comparison, who has the longest digital pen... xD

But pre-galaxy we were already a happy bunch when we got a nice game while steam had achievements for years already. I agree with Silverhawk170485 on this one. It's about the game, not small pictures. :-P
It's about not having a lesser product than the one found on Steam. It's a missing feature.

You can say the same thing about every aspect of a video game:
You kill the boss--> get a big virtual sword in reward. Wow very nice.
You finish the race first--> you go up to the virtual podium. Wow very nice.
You collect every orb--> you unlock a new useless virtual outfit. Wow very nice.
You finish the game--> the end credits scroll. Wow very nice you wasted your existence on virtual things.

The fact is that on GOG the title is incomplete compared to any other platform, be it Steam, Xbox One or PS4 and no explanations are given to us.
Has anyone tried the game on Win7 yet?

MobiusArcher: Even Red Faction 2?
I like RF2. It has a good ongoing action. For some reason I like it more than the first RF. Yeah, I know, that the second game doesn't play on Mars, but who cares?

Tarhiel: Did not expect this one here - all the more reason to buy it, and for such a price :)
Do you know if there is a screenshot of the graphics settings for the "Re-Mars-tered" version?
high rated

Agreed, the issue with the achievements is that the GOG version does not have a feature (even if it's not "intelligent" for the enlightened) that is available in other versions.

So are DRM and a mandatory client. ;P

Thanks for the heads up Piranka!
I'm one of those who prefer FPP over TPP, therefore never tried Red Faction after second part..
After years I may give it a try, will checkout the stream first.
