Between a red rock and a destructible place.

UPDATE: You can now add the game's 32-track Soundtrack to your collection, also with a 50% discount. Drop the beat like a hammer!

Red Faction Guerilla: Re-Mars-tered is now available DRM-free on GOG.com, 50% off until July 10, 5pm UTC.

The ultimate Mars demolition simulator returns, now with its exploding bits fully remastered to look better than ever. Carve your own red path on the open-world surface of the Red Planet as a flamboyant member of the Red Faction. Employ guerilla tactics against everything on sight, level fully destructible settlements with aplomb, and exploit the game's temperamental physics as you reduce the Earth Defense Force to cinders.

Starkrun: Each has its own draw for me...
Even Red Faction 2?

Breja: I never played any of the Red Faction games. Would this be good place to start?
If I could recommend, I would start with first one. It is the best in the series. Moreover fans make Pure Faction Patch which should improve game on todays machines (never tried that one).

RF2 is generally average game with better destruction model in some parts.

I personally consider all newer RF games like different game series with possibility to damage structures. Concept is interesting, but game feeling is totally difference.

RadonGOG: Insta-pickup!

Nice, but where are Wreckfest and the preorder option for Pathfinder: Kingsmaker as well as the coming soon-page for MetroExodus?
Edit: Sorry, only read that DeepSilverStuff now. But why is there still any differenence between your two release politics?

Cusith: Going by the Kickstarter update they are running a bit behind but the Preorder for Kingsmaker is due. Just checked Steam and they don't seem to have preorders up there so its not just GOG thats delayed.

"Pathfinder: Kingmaker is also getting its very own Steam page in the coming days! A little while later, sometime around early June, pre-orders for Pathfinder: Kingmaker will also come to the Steam Store, followed by pre-orders on GoG within the first half of June."

Thanks for the info!

toxicTom: It's about owning them, not playing... ;-)
Guess I could always buy the game and then play it when I reach retirement age (if by some miracle I even have retirement funds saved). Here's hoping I still have the hardware/software to run it by then.

Breja: Also, third person is even better - I just finished Unreal, and man... that's one long game. It's very good, but looooong. I feel kinda spent on First Person Shooters right now.
Me and a couple of friends played through Unreal and the expansion a few weeks ago in one sitting. I hadn't played through the game until then (mostly having used it for deathmatch several years hence), and I take time to grok what I'm supposed to do, so I lagged behind them most of the time. Didn't seem very long, but I suppose they had some notion of what to do.

The expansion apparently isn't built for multiplayer, having the way back cut off after you pass through at a couple places (one pipe falls down, and one lift stops working), so admin commands were required.

Anime-BlackWolf: There already are cracks around that kill the online-registration, just the save feature must be adressed, the game itself CAN run even today. Okay, graphics are not so beautiful, but the game itself would be faster on slower machines.
Even worse, the remastered version does not come with Linux support and it's probably easier to get the old version running under Wine as the new one requires DX11.
Does coop work in the GOG version?

I have the GOG version of SR3 and coop does not work.
Thank you so very much for this release. Happy to report it runs flawlessly now. I used to play the s**t out of this on
Steam, but could never get the DX10 version to work, there were graphical bugs and hickups right after the
intro movie, with the EDF gunship overhead. So I had to make do with the DX9 version which ran without those
issues but didn't look as good. Anyhow, all of that is a thing of the past now (just like the GFWL connnection, no longer present, thank god), all is right with the world (and Mars) again :)

I'm not even touching the expansion. No way. The game felt crazy long to me. Frankly, I was ready for it to end at what was apparently about the half-way point :D When I reached the Sunspire I was quite sure reaching the top will be the grand finale. Not even close. And the spire alone took me a long time. It's probably the most labirynthine level of the game, and there's quite a few mazes in it. Add to it my terrible sense of direction, and I'm still amazed I ever finished it.

Heh, I went in circles a lot of times, not being able to figure out where I was supposed to go next. And then the map-end text came up and the next map loaded. I was actually the one who ended the map once or twice, and saw the exit a few more times, but most of the time I was somewhere else entirely running around like a headless chicken.

Did not expect this one here - all the more reason to buy it, and for such a price :)
-The game has no achievements.Thq nordic only adds achievements to the steam version

-Many users have asked in social networks to add achievements to their games in gog

I'll play it without insurance but I'm not going to pay a company that disparages gog users with decisions like that
high rated
Why care so much about achievements? o.O

I like to know too. Why are small pictures so important?
You finished the tutorial --> get a small picture saying that you've finished the tutorial. Wow very nice.

This has become a matter of principle: why here on GOG should we have a lower version of the game?
And why do they refuse to respond to any request for explanations?
