Looks like the same type of game as that Bombshell game.

Would have bought the game. Instead, instaboycotted.
If it is playable using mouse + keyboard, this could be my kind of game ;)
But I’m going to wait for a bit of feedback, because I would probably not enjoy having to play it with a controller.
It certainly looks great, and I'm getting some strong prince of persia vibes.

I played the demo back when it was available during the Steam festivals, and I played it with mouse & keyboard just fine.

If you want to try it first, the demo is still available on Steam. It's called Raji: Prologue
I wonder I that demo isn't available here, though.

I have the demo installed on Steam, I need to give it a shot sometime. If I like it, I'll be buying it here.

I’m not a Steam user ;)

But I see a DRM-free demo at itch.io, I’m going to give it a try.

Sorry, didn't know about that.

But yeah, the game is playable with m+k. I hope you enjoy the demo :)
I love the idea of this setting. Great alternative to generic European Medieval fantasy kingdom.

Yes, me too. That is, what seeing the screenshots was first in my mind. Or these Assassin's Creed Chronicles type 2D/2.5D games

Right, we really need more games that are not based on European mythos.
A lot of cultures need much more representation in video games.

Yep, it's a welcome to have more different cultural style for video games. With PC becoming more powerful but more affordable and people can work online from home rather than in a studio, a lot more people from different countries and cultural background will have a chance to make video game with more unique style and storytelling.

I understand it's a repetitive comment and it's a long time it's going on, but really downvote a pillar of the community for caring for what GOG might become, and what's wrong with it?
Anyway yes, this looks great! I'd still like to keep my purchases on GOG but the game has a page on itch.io - but still not purchasable atm apparently -and also has a demo there. EDIT oops I should have read all the comments before me, it looks like I have invented the wheel.
I think I'll get used to get some cheap indie game there and maybe rebuy here if they show up - I'm still a bit reluctant to buy there because I find the site and library messy and most titles are...uh...underwhelming? Also I tend to forget I have games there as I don't use it much.

Back to Raji, I had an "India action Ico" vibe and looked at what influences are named by the devs:
"The developers cited Bastion and Journey as being major influences on the game, and God of War, Ico, Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, and Dark Souls as other influences."

Because when that comment keep appearing on other unrelated threads like a spam it's getting annoying. Can we just focus on this game first and not the current forum politic? He sounds very American with that post. Very similar with people who complain about Trump or Biden on every comment section ever.
