i remember playing this game in the fall of 2005 and thinking "my god this game is violent!"

MY GIRL WANTS TO PARTY ALL THE TIME PARTY ALL THE TIME PARTY ALL THE TIME.

I actually own it on DVD, but now I can stop worrying about losing the stupid disc. :D

And for those of you not familiar, this is the game that Doom 3 could have and should have been. Quite simply, it is one of the finest shooters EVER.

Was not expecting this one to appear. I found my old CD-ROM copy I bought ages ago at Circuit City, unpacked it from a box after moving. I think it was like 4 discs IIRC.

I'm wondering this too. I remember playing this on XP, and I have a friend who wants to play this and is stuck with XP (he is saving up for a new PC), so I want to know for him.

I liked it, but it's not as fast as the older Quake games.

As for the GOG release, does the version implement the fix below from the get-go?
