There's nothing new if you own the original and DLC piecemeal is there?

That makes two of us then. Nothing for me here.... but at least my bank account is relieved!
Waw. And here I thought GOG gave up on releasing complete editions, particularly since Democracy 3's never saw the light of day here.
Hell, I gotta get this game sometime.
I guess I had to learn this lesson the hard way. From now on I'm not going to be buying games, until a year passes from their last update. The slow trickle of DLC for Project Highrise had me buying every 6 months or so, in the hope that I'll finally have a complete version of it. Now there's an entry on GOG, that will forever taunt, because I'll never be "re-buying" the complete version of the game.

Other than that complaint, it's great news for those that were patient enough to wait for a complete edition.

I've learned this lesson a few days back with Tyranny :D. TBH I don't have time to play games anymore, so I can wait, I just wish I knew beforehand which games are going to get extra DLCs and which aren't.

Why did you have to bring this up. I had somehow managed to completely miss the announcement. Now I have at least two games in the same situation.

You and me both, and I should wait, but every so often I don't. It's just that until recently I got away with being impatient.

I miss London and Berlin DLCs but at least I play the game quite regularly (I do enjoy it a lot) so I don't feel ashamed or anything ;) On the other hand I have a policy to not treat seriously developers who release so many DLCs just after finishing the main game and thus I buy their games only with a high discount. So I'm not in a hurry to buy these missing DLCs...

if you have bought all the DLC's then you already have the complete version... so...

I believe Architect's Edition does not introduce any new content. It's just a bundle of everything that have been released thus far.

yes, it is the same thing. basegame + all DLC = Architect's Edition

Yes I know that, but I was referring to the fact that every sale from now, I'll receive notifications that I don't own the Architect's edition.

Just like every other game entry on GOG, that has: base game+deluxe content vs complete edition.

If you buy the complete edition, then all three: complete + deluxe content + base will be marked as owned.
But if you buy the base + deluxe content, then the complete edition will remain marked as not-owned.

Ah, now I understand - I have never really paid attention how complete/individual games are marked during a sale. If I own the game I'm not bothered by the appearance of different version on sale but I do understand it can be frustrating.
