This Summer Sale on GOG.COM starts with a journey into outer space. In Prey, a climatic sci-fi FPS game, our hero awakes aboard Talos I, a space station orbiting the moon in the year 2032. It appears that he was the key subject of an experiment meant to alter humanity forever - but at some point, things have gone wrong. The space station is now being overrun by hostile aliens and now your goal can be only one - survival.

Until the end of Summer Sale - on 15th June, 1 PM UTC - Prey is available on GOG.COM with a special 70% discount.

Zoidberg: Nice to see this released here but yeah, that's the most overhyped game I've played in a while. :P

summonjikon: Overhyped?
Not quite the exact term - I give you that, but it has gathered quite a positive opinion around it but I (personally) think it has a lot of downsides and isn't that well made. I quite lost interest but I really wanted to like it at first. :P
Instabought. Good job GOG!
I guess i'm getting Prey for the fourth time. Nice release GOG.

sanscript: I really hope we get to see the 2006 version also here. That would, unlike some other store, be Epic. The DVD is singing on its last note now. =D
The one with the native american protagonist? I have that as a metallic case sitting in my collection, actually. :)

LiefLayer: is this game really drm-free? even dlc? can I play it without gog galaxy and offline? I want to be sure before I buy after the last time with deus ex MD.
is Prey: Mooncrash any good?
Every game on GOG is DRM free with the exception of Gwent as thats a multiplayer game and thus requires a internet connection to play.

Anime-BlackWolf: We are still missing the following old titles:

- Skyrim

Mr.Mumbles: ;) ... It is almost 9 years old already.
Isnt that online only anyways tho? Or does it have singleplayer?

Patience is paid.

But we need original Prey too.
Hope we can see Prey (2006) soon on GOG, but this is still a nice surprise to see.
Got this now. At least one of the releases to day was worth the price of admission!! Great add, GOG.
Awesome! please bring DOOM here as well!

TheMonkofDestiny: Possible legal issues aside, I think Bethesda is probably satisfied with pushing focus on the reboots of series they hold the rights to. Which means being left out in the cold when it comes to Human Head's Prey and Raven's Wolfenstein ever seeing digital re-releases.

AB2012: ^ Yeah it's true there's more money in reboots. Having said that, I have the disc version of Prey (2006) and it is actually DRM-Free (SecuROM disc-check was officially removed in patch v1.4).
I have the Prey 2006 CE from retail in the tin-case w/ the figurine.
And also have Prey 2006 on Steam too.

Also own Prey 2017 too on Steam.

Yep.

And I still want Prey 2 (from Human Head) to get finished and released too.

Jupp, the one and only, like a cheesy B-movie with lot of soul, pun intended ;)
OMG! Prey, Metro Exodus *and* a summer sale!
Instabuying Prey: Digital Deluxe Edition and Metro Exodus - Gold Edition.
Can we also have Prey (2006) at some point ?
GOG, keep up the good work!

May I ask you a question?
Is Prey 2006 DRM-Free on Steam?

I loved how that game handled dying....you can die, but will resurrect and your health/spirit power is based on how many bad souls you shoot while dead. Nice mechanic imo.
