This Summer Sale on GOG.COM starts with a journey into outer space. In Prey, a climatic sci-fi FPS game, our hero awakes aboard Talos I, a space station orbiting the moon in the year 2032. It appears that he was the key subject of an experiment meant to alter humanity forever - but at some point, things have gone wrong. The space station is now being overrun by hostile aliens and now your goal can be only one - survival.

Until the end of Summer Sale - on 15th June, 1 PM UTC - Prey is available on GOG.COM with a special 70% discount.

Bavarian: If I had to choose between Prey and Prey, I'd definitely go for Prey.

Also, I think it's utterly stupid to name a game exactly the same as an already existing one.

Yeah, Battlefield: WW1 would've been a better title.
Great campaign (even as short as the mini-stories are, all out together) and excellent MP though.

If you follow the peanut butter of Hollywood's sequel convention. Which, I suppose spilled over into gaming's chocolate pond around the time the N64 was a hot ticket.

I wish they'd title these remakes or reboot as such or w/ a year or something, so you'd know it's remake or reboot.

I still call Tomb Raider Reboot either Tomb Raider 2013 or TR Reboot.

There is a Lift in the game and there is a SQUARE room with two robots and a PACMAN Ghost in it and BEFORE you can do anything they Kill you INSTANTLY!

That does sound annoying. Maybe you're not meant to go into that room at that stage.

You need to git gud then. ;)

But really, you do need the proper skills(like hacking for the bots maybe) and weapons I am guessing.

(Also there may be another way...many areas have at least 2 ways in and out)

Is this one any good?
Much better in my opinion. It's like System Shock but with a much higher budget. The original Prey in my opinion was a rather average shooter, with some gimmicky tricks in level design.
