This looks like a bizarre and indie Doom Eternal, that is awesome!

NuffCatnip: I'm having a ton of fun with this one so far.
Might give Elderborn (by the same devs) a go.
Wait, I didn't notice this! Suddenly my intrest went way up!
I played Postal 1. Epic times.

I noticed the Elderborn ads in some levels and looked the devs games up.
Everybody is saying Elderborn is a first person Dark Souls, yet all I'm seeing is a pretty neat looking Dark Messiah-like title, which is approximately a million times better..

Swedrami: Probably the closest to Dark Messiah that's currently available on GoG.
Yeah, I'll most likely get Elderborn during the sale.

Everybody is wrong, because it really has no significan similarities with Dark Souls. Couldn't say for certain about Dark Messiah, since I never played it, but looking around it seems a way more proper comparison.
I think it gives Conan the Barbarian vibes.
This gives me some Painkiller vibes. Do I see right, that every level has its own graphical theme? Somebody here who played both games and can compare them?

Oddeus: snip
Check out the Gmanlives review. That should give you a good idea.

These days people compare Dark Souls to everything, it's nothing but a meme.
The comparison to Dark Messiah isn't too far off, admittedly I haven't played Elderborn yet and can't say anything regarding the level structure/architecture or the skill system, but at first glance they seemed rather similar.

That it does. :)
